Since its founding in 1948, Israel has been a fundamental touchstone for American Jews. While that widespread support has eroded over the years as a peace process with Palestinians foundered, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent attempt to deeply undermine the country’s independent judiciary has pushed that relationship to a nadir.

The constant gaslighting spewed by the rep of the Israeli government only serves to highlight how right in their admonishment of the state of Israel the other speakers are. His claims are baseless and his words are tinged with lies and less that half truths.

Nonsense ! Democracy in Israel has been compromised by the Judicial Coup d'etat starting in the 1990s. The Likud is trying to restore democracy.
The wall around Palestinians is an attrocity. Undemocratic. This will end.
