Carrie won Idol so easy, because of her power in vocals. And she held down her vocals for this performance.

Carrie is SUCH a seasoned pro. It’s awesome how she’s mentoring young talent.😊

You could see how hard it was for Carrie to be critical with the contestants and also the contestants were in awe of Carrie and she never did it before. And even with sing with Carrie, you could tell they had that deer in headlights look.

This the first time in a long time, Carrie showed her quick burst of her power. She did it a couple of times with both Maddie and Gabby like they were trying to show they can do that. Carrie wasn't trying to embarrass either of them. Carrie just does it so natural, both of them like wow, like a fast reality check.

Carrie was holding back her vocals are stronger than that!!!! But nice work to the other singers!!!!

Even Gabby said bluntly, she can't come close to reaching Carrie's power in vocals. And plus Gabby said Carrie came down when Carrie and Gabby together. Carrie wanted all five them in shine. That wasn't about Carrie, it was about them.

@@TrainFlood I doubt it. It would be a no-contest, if Carrie was pitted against Michael. Carrie would be able to drown out Michael with ease.

Main problem Carrie has with being a mentor. Yeah, she can give them advice. But Carrie can't give them, her raw, natural power she possess.

When you say American Idol, and it doesn't matter which network it airs on. Carrie is the person you think of right away, not Kelly Clarkson. And I wasn't surprised that Kelly went onto "The Voice". I don't think Carrie is going to appear on Idol in 2019, not with her doing "Cry Pretty" tour

I think out of this group. Gabby has come out on top. Even though Maddie won it.

Should of just let Carrie hit the high notes cuz omg were they bad. Only thing tht made tht performance good was Carrie herself 🤣
