You know... I avoided anything to do with this musical for so long because even though I've been a Green Day fan for 20 years, I thought it would be stupid. I was totally wrong! That was awesome!

I'm a broadway freak and Phantom of the Opera used to be my favorite musical but after I've seen American Idiot, this is now my favorite. :3

Dude those broadway kids are so damn lucky! What a great show to be a part of!

I mean…it’s almost 15 minutes, so it really is a mini concert. But they did “Jesus of Suburbia,” so it’s just one song. The emotion of this is just overwhelming. These songs already meant so much to me, and this show made them matter just as much but in a different way, and I’m just so grateful that this show ever existed.

Fucking awesome. One of the best live performances I've seen on youtube for sure. Blonde girl in the back going ape with the short black dress = essence of digging a live show.

I really really hope this musical comes back to the states before too long. This is just a musical I would absolutely love to see. I love Green Day and I have been a dedicated fan for the past 6 years; I have seen them in concert twice but this just seems like an experience like no other. I could not keep my cool. Haha

Is it just me, or is the cast, even here as pretty much audience members themselves just bring so much insane energy to the enjoyment and love of this music? Like double or more of their performances even? Completely caught up in the energy and emotion of it all. Its so beautiful.

This is really late, but I just want to say thank you so much for filming the cast! TBH I'm not really a Green Day fan though I do respect them a lot, but first and foremost I'm a fan of the musical, so to finally find footage focused on the cast and not Billie Joe (who is totally awesome I'm just not invested in him like I am the cast) is really great

thankyou so much for these videos! especially this one - I think it's my favourite ever video of JOS. It just captures the everything about the musical for me, the creation of one big family not just between the cast, but between the fans as well. I'm gonna miss the St James theatre, but the memories I've gotten from times spent there I will treasure forever. Also, 7:15 - 7:23 has to be one of my favourite things ever :D

I am in love with you for posting this I went for the third time on friday, we knew right after we bought the tickets we should have done sunday, but it was already sold out :( Green day must have a concert soon, you're so lucky!

@kpurejoy82996 if you don't know the musical then your not an idiot haha the blonde with the short hair is Mary Faber and she originated the roll of Heather in the musical and then the long blonde hair is Jeanna de Waal who took over the roll of Heather in the show when Mary left. The reason why they are singing that part is because in the show that's Heather's role.

@MsFlute13 The videos came from MeghanSmo -- I appreciate her putting them up too. I've seen GD a couple of times, during the last tours, but didn't see AI. I was in NYC the last week of AI, for my birthday, but we went to see That Championship Season instead, which was very good. It's at the Jacobs, on 45th, so on our way to that theater we walked by the St James and saw everyone lining up and getting psyched for the AI show that night (Thursday 4/21)
