    Lange is a hell of an actress no doubt, but Conroy is so underrated - same with Angela Bassett. This is, hands down, the greatest role of Conroy. This is how the angel of death should be; beautiful, calm and comforting. I can't wait to see her role in upcoming seasons again!!!!

    @@bitchfacehopkins9094 season 10 was total garbage. It was a double story and just terrible. Not scary or remotely creepy just stupid. The first 5 episodes are about a pill that makes you creative but turns you into a vampire, then the next 5 episodes are aliens. It’s complete garbage. The shows been going downhill since season 7.

    Wow... Sister jude is literally contemplating suicide and shows the angel of death just how much she hates herself. Just how many wrongs she has committed and she confesses it all openly to her without hiding anything even sahing she felt like she was just hiding her evil under the nuns cloak...and what does the angel of death do? Comfort her..reveal that they are not blind to her sufferings and encouraging her to keep faith in herself. It makes one want to cry how understanding she is towards jude.

  • @terrancejovan4825

    @terrancejovan4825

    6 жыл бұрын

    @Apryll She's didn't encourage her to kill herself though. That would require free will.. which the angels don't have. They are sentinels of the lord, to do what it is in his will. Not to mention that the comfort Sachat is giving her is not her own, but given to her by the lord to pass on to Jude. "You deserve some peace Jude.".. Not sure how you got "encourage her to die" from that or anything she said their..

  • @Apryll.

    @Apryll.

    6 жыл бұрын

    @Terrance Jovan Encouraging requires freewill? and angels dont have it, ok. Well call upon an angel right now and let me know who comes, should be a free for all so do it outside. Where did you get that the lord passed on information to give to Jude? The lord doesnt even know who resided in sister Eunice,that Angel seemed to have lots of free will, you'd think the lord would want to deal with that walking contradictory 1st. The only peace an angel of death can give is death, that is the only it knows. A very famous angel of death used to say that same quoted line to his patients. I guess maybe its growth and development kind of thing that makes these subtle phases go over your head but it honestly doesnt even matter because this is in fact season 1 and ever year the entire cast plus director and writers go to comic con, where they speak and answer questions for 2-3 hrs. it is always recorded and would you believe me if I told you it gets posted to youtube? So if you want to know the intent behind the scene all you have to do is listen to the Q and A the directer did at comic con that year. I dont want to spoil it for you but one of us is very correct in our thinking.

    What a touching and emotional scene for a horror show. Its like finding candy in the middle of bitter coffee beans. I think Asylum is the most emotional season and the ending is very bittersweet unlike the other season where the ending kinda raise more question or jsut dark which is totally common for horror movie and not saying its a bad thing. This Shit Actually Happens In Life! Men cheat on their Women & Contract STD’s & Come home and pass it on to they’re Girlfriends/Fiancé’s/Wives or What have you. I am a man who has been with a grand total of 3 women and I have never once been unfaithful, I have been with my current Girlfriend for a grand total of 7years & We’re happier than ever. So as a man this scene breaks my heart. What about The night Casey left me, the night before our wedding? I had told him that he had given me syphilis & I Wouldn’t Be Able To Have Children...? He just stared at me… Like I didn’t even exist! Called me a liar, and a whore. All I Have Ever wanted was my own children to teach and love…? Why didn’t I die that night... 😭😭😭😭 that part kills me! Weather Jessica Lange ever comes back to American horror story again… It will never be the same without our queen 👑

    This scene is so powerful because Jude believes she is an awful person. People she met may even agree but she’s not and she knows she isn’t a horrible person . Just a human living in a world we don’t get, we make mistakes & we get hurt but We continue to give love, we’re always misunderstood. Yet we are still in love with the idea of love. When the world is against us, which seems like all the time 😢 It can lead a Human to things that numb our pain. I will 30 years old on the 31st of July and I have been Jude many of times , I attempted to end it because I couldn’t slience my mind & I couldn’t understand the world. I’m currently on Liquor & drugs as I write this but I’m tired of numbness. I love a world filled with people of all kinds who have been mean to me, when I have done nothing. The pain in this scene is felt because me & Death have met many times.
