I must say I really admire your commitment to buying full, mostly brand new, in box sets. This stuff gets pricey! Anyway, I have almost all the historical sold now and I think you should give away one that still has a collection. That way if the winner wants too, they'd be able to start their own collection. Melody or Maryellen are my suggestions.

How generous of you to give away a doll! I suggest Addy since she’s close in time period to your favorites and still currently available. Mia is beautiful and perfect for you as a skater! Congratulations! I had to buy one new in box off eBay once, too, because I was dumb and sold my first one. I’ve kept the braid in as well, but I did have to replace the rubber band. It eventually disintegrated.

I grew up obsessed with American girl dolls, and I just found your channel and am watching a bunch of the vids! Doll wise, Samantha has always been a favorite of mine who I never got, due to her being retired at my peak American girl interest, and by the time she came back I was losing interest in American girl. I still collect smaller dolls, and love American girl though. Keep doing what you’re doing! Edit: I changed my mind, Kirsten would be my absolute dream historical doll!

By watching other videos about the A.G., I learned more about them; for example that they are inspired to historical characters, even as a new way to teach the story to the new generation: I approve it. But I believe that they are even more: the real dolls for collectors, as perfect and precious they are; a tresaure for the enthusiasts.
