Welcome to Stray Kids. No one has mentioned this so far so I will. Stray Kids (SKZ for short) are a self-produced group who debuted in 2018 under JYPE. The members were selected by the leader, Bang Chan, in what was essentially an experiment. He had trained for 7 years from the age of 13 and the company decided to allow him to choose the members. They then had to prove themselves though through the SKZ Survival Show in 2017 which they were, thankfully, successful in. Their popular pre-debut song is Hellevator (2017) and their debut song was District 9 (2018). They started as 9 members but became 8 when one left in October 2019 just before they released a new album and title track Levanter (2019). They often call this their "real" debut because it was the 8 of them you see today. They struggled for a while to gain popularity because of their unique genre mixing "mala (spicy) taste" songs which many called "noise music". They really took off in 2020 during the pandemic with God's Menu which addressed the fact that they cook up their own style of music and there is no special ingredients. Their star climbed even higher in 2022 with Maniac (title track from Oddinary) and in 2023 with S-Class (title track from 5 Star). Today, they are one of the most popular and multi-award winning 4th generation boy groups and their star is still climbing through their music and many endorsements e.g. brand ambassadors of Versace (Hyunjin) and Louis Vuitton (Felix). They have about 200 songs in their discography, many high energy, multi-genres and ballads as well, made by the 8, as solo songs or as sub-units. Their lyrical wordplay is often about very relatable topics such as mental health, overcoming, not giving up. They always seem to be able to lift spirits with the high energy tracks and lyricism. Just ask any fan (called Stay - remember the end of the video Stray Kids everywhere all around the world, you make Stray Kids STAY?) and they can suggest what songs to listen to. Stray Kids is an 8 members group gather by the lider of the group Bang Chan (this is the only k-pop group formed this way. Usually the label company decides who gets to be the members of a group). Stray Kids are self-produced. They create 99% of they're music and are also very involved in the choreography creation. The group has debuted in 25/03/18 and the members are: Bang Chan (26Yo The Lider) , Changbin (24) and Han (23). They are also known as the producers and songwriters - 3Racha subunit. Lee Know (25), Hyunjin (23) and Felix (23) also known by the name of- Dance Racha subunit . All of them have solo songs composed by themselves. Seungmin (23) and I.N (23)as the Vocal Racha subunit. They have released solo cover songs. They all are skilled in dancing, they all can rapp or sing and lately all of them are getting intrested in songwriting and producing. Lalalala is the title track of their last came back. This is the one you should check next. Is INSANE from whatever point of view you wanna watch it!!! What sets Stray Kids apart from other groups is they're 100% self produced. They're a rap based group but theyve done all kinds of genres and have vocals and balads. I especially love their noise music which is what they are known for.

Love StrayKids!!! I was never a kpop fan until I heard them. Although I appreciate other kpop songs I mostly listen to SKZ. In my opinion I think they r in their own league

Funny you should wonder about BTS & SKZ. One of Stray Kids (the one who did a spin kick) used to be a backup dancer for BTS. It made him want to become a idol. They do interact. But don't compare groups. It tends to get fandoms up in arms. Sadly. The guy with the vocals was Seungmin. SKZ don't really have set roles, as they are very much considered all rounders. All of them can sing, rap, and dance. And as Stray Kids are mostly self produced, all members have helped write their songs. Some are now expanding into producing them as well. Alongside the three who make up the production team. (3Racha were a pre-debut rap team who made their own tracks & songs. They are the main producers of SKZ.) But they do have sub-units. 3Racha are the main producers, made up of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. Danceracha help with choreography & help the others. Danceracha consists of Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Felix. Vocalracha are the two that focus on vocals, but they can rap & dance as well. Made up of the two youngest, Seungmin & I.N. Stray Kids started their musical journey with a story they wanted to tell. And their music has evolved with them. I'll leave a list for you if you would like to go through it. I give this list to any baby Stay, or those just learning about SKZ, I come across to help them in their SKZ journey. I'm going to include some songs I think are part of the story, but not quite. I'll put them in brackets. And yes. The trailers & teasers I list are needed for the story. Hellevator isn't needed, but it's good for new people to watch it. Helevator was made in 2017 before they even debut, as part of the Survival Show that they went through to prove they could debut as one group. It was made while they were still trainees between the ages 16-20. And parts of it are seen through out the story line.(I don't know if anyone has told you that SKZ were a 9 member group at the beginning. You will see Woojin in older videos. He was present till Double Knot at the later part of 2019. He has a lovely voice, and I wish him well on his solo career. A lot of Stay ignore his existence because of how he left. Stray Kids are 8 members now, and personally that's the way I think it should be. I just mention him because new people get confused when they see a person who isn't in anything from 2019 and up.) And yes. You need to watch it in order of the list. (Hellevator) I Am Not trailer District 9 (Mirror could go here, but it's not completely in the story line. But it fits.) Voices Grow Up My pace I Am You Victory Song Performance Video Miroh Cle 2: Yellow Wood trailer Side Effects Teaser 1 Side Effects Double Knot (Astronaut is technically next, but it's also a split in the story line again. The group from this one end up in space & go on to the song TOP where they have a conclusion of a sorts for their story. So their path is up to Double Knot, then Astronaut, and finally TOP. The main story skips this, and goes on to Levanter Trailer.) Cle: Levanter Trailer Levanter Go Live Trailer Stray Kids Prequel: Highlight Reel Gods Menu In Life Trailer Back Door I think that's the end of the official story line. Stray Kids consider Gods Menu as their new beginning, and the story shows it. After that, they take many different routs in their story & music. There Is also a separate story line called the Mixtape Universe, or the Film Club Universe. It's it's own self contained thing, and it recently got a added film in the latest comeback. It follows the members in an alternate reality as they are members of a school film club. Mixtape: On Track Unveil track: B Me Mixtape: OH The View And just recently there is now SKZFLIX that kind of follows an alternate path of the Film Club universe, and the Unveil track for Leave also ties in. We are waiting for Leave to get a full film. I want it so bad. (At this point, I don't think it will get it's own MV. And I am sad.) I hope this helps you on your journey of exploration into Stray Kids' music. Some of my all time fave Stray Kids songs aren't on that list. There is a lot for you to discover.
