As an Englishman I felt my blood pressure rise. I swear if someone made me tea like this I'd launch the cup at them
As a pure tea drinking brit it’s pure horror
Americans: make british tea wrong
This is a declaration of war.
It's a bloody wind up! Look she's popular now. She's laughing her way to the bank
As a British person this hurts my soul...
The proper way to make American tea is to
I’m not even British, but this hurts my eyes, heart and soul.
The only thing that makes me patriotic about England, is how we can get so angry about tea.
Proper way to make British tea
The way she says
These videos are spoofs, I've seen her on KZread and she's also made an atrocity of beans on toast and scrambled eggs, yet she's admitted to having ordered beans on toast while eating out (she's currently living in the UK) so she damn well knows that's not how you make beans on toast, nor would she ever have seen or tasted scrambled eggs made with sugar and squirty cream from a can, still it's a bit of light-hearted fun so good luck to her
All credit to the host. Most of us Brits don't even know about loose tea.
The only way to make tea:
I’m not even English but it’s like boiling an egg… how can you not know how to do it?
On second thoughts, it's probably for the best that your tea remain in the harbour
British: First take a mug or if you're posh a tea pot. Take a tea bag and place into into the mug or tea pot and pour in boiling water and steep for absolutely ages (3 minutes at least) to make sure its black and incredibly bitter from all the tannins released from the leaf. If you've steeped your tea in a tea pot proceed to pour it into your posh tea cup (remember to hold the cup with your pinky finger outstretched and all fancy like). With your tea steeped in its mug or steeped and poured into tea cups proceed to add stuff into it like sugar and a dash of milk to take the bitter edge off (🤷🏻♂️). Some say these additions masks the pure flavour of the tea but that's ok though because who wants to taste just hot leaf juice? (🤦🏻♂️). Then eat stuff like finger sandwiches and various confectionery like scones because who wants to appreciate tea for itself?
Angrily drinks tea in British while watching this*
I'm an American. That is not how my family has ever made hot tea. That was horrible.
This way of making tea can irritate Britain, China, Japan and many other countries with tea habits at the same time.😂
