Shinola Detroit makes their amenity kit in business and first, DS & Durga is a hip brand from Brooklyn NY, making interesting fragrance and the lotions etc.

Speaking of Shinola. From the 1880s, it has been a very popular shoe polish (black or brown). Growing up, a popular put down was to say “you wouldn’t know the difference between sh*t and Shinola.”

It was available in all cabins but no free access for premium economy unfortunately! There was though a possibility to use iPass Wi-Fi account if I’m not mistaken, which you can get with some of the credit cards, including e.g. HSBC World Elite one!

I flew Chicago to London premium economy American air it was wonderful

How was the legroom and did the footrest help? How far can you tilt the seat back?

Legroom and width was quite generous, one of us is 6’1” and felt more than spacious and marginally more so than on BA e.g. didn’t think footrest was particularly comfortable or game changing but good to have for a change

How much did the premium economy seat recline?

Done some digging and looks like should be 6 inches of recline on this particular aircraft which should be in line with the competition or slightly better I think

Ba has better premium economy experience… although I’ve noticed on flights leaving America the catering can be hit and miss

It is a recliner yes, angle felt in line with the competition on this route!

Hello. Just to clarify!! Premium economy and economy class on AMERICAN AIRLINES do not have the same service at all. The premium economy gets a 2, 3, 2 seat configuration, with lots of legroom. Better seats, larger pillows/blankets, and your meal services are different than the economy class. Your meal tray (lunch and breakfast) has real china, freshly cooked food (not frozen like economy class) better dessert, and so on. So please before you give an airline a bad review, make sure you have all the facts. May I suggest that the next time you travel on AA, take a nice walk in the main cabin, and see what they really get!!
