It's been about 5 years since I've flown on an American 757 which happens to be one of my favorite airplanes. The 757 is nothing short of an amazing aircraft and a pilot favorite. It's versatility in the airline industry makes it extremely reliable and in a way, holds its own in a market which no other airliner has been able to fit. Yes the A321 and 737's are trying to take over but, they have not been able to match this aircraft in range, takeoff distance and speed at only 140 knots and 4,000 feet! It's such a shame that 757 production was cut. It has hurt Boeing and they can't admit it, but they should really see the bigger picture and listen to the airlines. They want the 757. I say the 757 lines should start again but be a modern take on the iconic airliner. The flight itself was amazing! Those RB211's make you feel like you're in a rocket ship! The sound of the flaps as well is so cool. Also I apologize for any kids screaming or any dogs barking. This woman next to me had her dog yelp and climb all over me during the flight. Not every flight is perfect. I still had such an amazing time of this amazing aircraft and hope to go on it more in the future!

Great video! The 757 with RR engines is pretty dang loud pulling into the gate when watching in person, it almost reminds me of an MD-80 pulling in. Also, you got some great views of the AirCal 737!

Yay! finally i am American Airlines flight an i am getting ready to catch the flight down to Dallas/Fort Worth today and next flight down to LAX or Ontario today.
I'll miss the 757s in AA colors. I'm glad I got to fly one last year from DFW to Philadelphia.

Awesome video man! Sucks that 606 was retired, I saw her a few times when I was in DFW in May. I flew N678AN to/from STT in July, and she was retired just two weeks after I flew her.

Captain Cooper American Airlines should order 757-300s because they’re longer than the A321XLR and they will be a good replacement for the 737 MAXs
757 is so cool
I’m flying American Airlines this March Break.
The Airbus A320 feels so scrappy compared to this plane. The B757 is light years ahead imo. Hopefully American and other airlines continue to use these for years to come.

For all other AA aircrafts, I like the old livery better except for the Boeing 757 and Airbus 321 for some reason.

@@SuperSpotterATL Actually that is Bush Intercontinental Airport-IAH. DFW has 7 runways-IAH shown in the video has FIVE.
