Comparing the US to Europe is like comparing 50 mini countries with all different cultures to 40+ countries with different cultures each. Lol it can’t be done.

My sister also showed our parents and brother around Western Europe, specifically Switzerland, Paris (France), Brussels (Belgium) and the Netherlands when she graduated. It was very fun, especially in Switzerland. But like Drew’s parents, they love spending time with us more.

When you go from country to country in Europe you change currencies, like of course. You would do the same in the US if you got from USA to Canada, the difference is just that our borders are much closer

i live in germany and i went to all parts of EU honestly europe is much more diverses with culture and food and languages and i think also it is much more safe than the US because of weapons story but i think the US is much more flexible in their laws than europe and i want to try living in the US especially in texas or california ...... at the end every place have prons and cons

People from the US don't understand that Europe is a continent and not a country. They're surprised if they cross a border they have to use other currency, the people speak a completely other language etc. I mean please... If you cross the boarder to Mexico can you use US dollars there? Do people speak English in Mexico? See...? It doesn't make any sense. The US is one country. It's huge but it is still one country. And yes I know that there are some cultural differences between every state. However these differences are slightly. You can pay with US dollars in every state, English is the official language of every state, Joe Biden is the president of every state. I tried to explain it to my American friend when I was in New York but as all of the Americans he failed to understand it.

Why? We generally dont use it because we dont find it neccesary. We want to use that money for something else. Only if it gets warmer we will.

The air condition is a big difference. In Europe, we turn it on only if it's very hot. When I arrived to Canada and the US, it was freezing cold in all the buildings and airplanes, even though the weather was not as hot. We all got ill from the temperature changes. Also the food. Americans rarely go to regular restaurants, mostly fast food. Restaurants and good quality groceries are much more expensive in the US. Anyway, glad you and your family are enjoying Europe!

Speaking different languages sucks. I live in Europe and have noticed the immigrants from a European country to another suffer especially at work/looking for a job because they do not speak the language of that country. Europeans do not prefer to speak English. US is much better

Just traveled to Spain, Turkey and other parts of Europe for a month… made me so much more proud to be an American 🇺🇸 it’s beautiful overseas but America is better as far as the infrastructure, resources and the fact that it’s diverse and innovative because not everyone around you is exactly like you..

It completely depends on which country you try to compare the US to. Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Monaco, Andorra, Luxembourg, the Netherlands are much better than the US in terms of infrastructure, governance, and public services than anywhere in the US. Whereas countries like Turkey, Spain, Italy, Serbia, Bosnia, Ukraine, Moldova didn't quite manage to catch up to the US yet

C'mon Drew, you should know better than this! Europe is not a country, but a continent made up of multiple countries that are totally different from each other! You have countries with different religions, cultures... you just can't talk about "Europe" as if it's all the same there

Europe as a whole meaning all countries combined differ greatly from the U.S. also the states here differ so greatly we may as well be in different countries any damn way. At no point did this man say Europe was a country. This is the definition of pointless criticism. I think everyone over the age of 7 knows Europe just like North America is a continent. Ask anyone from South America and they’ll tell you how ridiculous it is for the US to be referred to as “America”. It’s like if China decided to call themselves Asia!
