Dear God keep me sober. I've been sober for over six months and this is the first time In over fifteen years I have been sober. I've been struggling with addiction since age 11 and I have severe poly addiction so I am so happy to have been able to find recovery I don't want to go back to that life it almost killed me so many times I don't want to end up living that life again. ​@@ThatGuy-oc4mvif you were in the upper echelons then you'd know that their substances are incredibly clean and easy to access. these people are getting laced substances, running out of one drug and having to replace it with another, having to resort to cheaper substances because they can't afford their DOC. not to mention the fact that most of these people were already in horrific mental and financial positions leading to this in the first place, which only continues exacerbating the addiction. you're making pretty piss poor excuses yourself right now.

@rat-gang- cry me a river, success has nothing to do with circumstances. It’s all based on the individual. I’ve seen people with nothing and the worst possible situation have the best lives and people with the best opportunities and situations piss it away and be left with nothing. People like you are the problem with America, you’d rather pity someone and let them off the hook with millions of excuses rather than hold them to a higher standard and believe in personal accountability. These people have more resources than ANY other group in America to help them, but they don’t want help, they’d rather just keep wasting away as zombies. The difference isn’t money or access, it’s that successful people have drive and actually want to do something with their lives, these homeless junkies are the parasites of society, they take and take but never once give anything back.

It’s strange seeing a city with no children. I mean thank goodness we can’t see any little kids amongst the filth, but it definitely feels like stepping into the twilight zone.

Помню, в 1998-ом, как-то довелось поговорить с одним таким человеком - правда в каком-то городке Техаса то было, а не в Филадельфии - который ходил у Волл-Марта с губкой и канистрой какого-то моющего средства и предлагал свои услуги по протирке машинных окон для тех, кто припарковывался на стоянке. Вот именно это он мне и сказал, узнав, что я из России. Россия тогда, конечно, была не сахар, но меня поразило то, насколько он был уверен, что ему жилось куда лучше, чем кому-либо из русских.

here too in France we have the same problem. Like for example the crack hill in Paris. But we found this phenomenon in all the major cities of the territory, with more and more shanty towns where many people live in makeshift tents. they are unsanitary places of perdition, places where you will find all kinds of drugs, with these drug addicts wandering aimlessly like zombies. Prostitution, violence of all kinds, gangs and immigration which doesn't help all that. we are witnessing the end of times live, my brothers and sisters

It is not about a particular human it is about democratic policies and lefties ideology that got as here. Kids are raised with this sense of entitlement and no responsibility whatsoever. Drugs on the heads of these people do not fall from the sky. This is all imported and the traffickers are covered up. I live in Russia and to say that I am in shock is an understatement. We don’t have anything like that. There are drug addicts in every country and there’s a problem. In Russia you won’t see this on the streets. The US is huge and there are amazing places to go on a vacation here. This video is awful no doubt but here are some very beautiful places to go. The entire coast of Oregon, Pensacola beach, Florida, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Grand Teton &Yellowstone National Parks, Jackson, Wyoming, Newport Beach & San Clemente, California; La Conner & Mt Rainer, Washington. Nashville Tennessee, Savanna Georgia!!

My experience with loved ones addicted to drugs is no low is ever low enough for them to self initiate change. For those of us who enjoy safe and secure homes and communities this street life is unimaginable. For the addicted, chasing the drug and whatever feeling it gives, or numbs, is the only thing that matters. There’s no amount of love and concern from family that will help them. Whether mental illnesses occurred before drug use, or resulted from drug use, it is a component of the addicted. We tried to save our son, who is now 33 and currently on parole, again, for burglary. He is so smart and excelled with seeming ease at everything he did. He’s an amazing artist, guitarist, and virtually taught himself programming in C++. None of our love and encouragement makes a difference. We did kick him out of our home over 15 years ago. The mentality ill will drive sane people crazy. When he lived with us, he repeatedly “lost” his house key. Of course, he wasn’t bothered, he just left our home unlocked when he went out roaming wherever. Every time I returned home from work the first thing I did was take a visual inventory of my home, always fearing my own son would rob us. We offered him a home, all bills paid and food in the cupboard. In return we asked him to respect us and our home. Absolutely no drugs were to be brought to our home. Absolutely no drugs friends were invited to our home. We work and live during the day and our home is locked and quiet at night. Too many times I woke in the middle of the night to find he’d left, and of course left the door unlocked. The final straw was the day I ran home during my lunch break and found one of the druggie friends was in my home. I exploded and sent him packing. He communicates with us, usually when he has been in jail for a few weeks and briefly detoxed. We let him know we love him and pray for his wellbeing. When he’s in the throes of addiction he doesn’t communicate, and sometimes he’s gone 2-3 years without contact. It’s heartbreaking, and to be honest I no longer dread the potential call notifying us of his death. It would be a relief.

There are many ppl who have been forgotten in our country. This being 1 of them. I don't know exactly why I continually watch, aside from the fact I may have that 'Aha' moment, yet sadly it never comes. The issues are as diverse as the ppl who are there. It's not a simple +vs - issue. It's as complex as are the ppl. It is true that many have had a traumatic experience, yet not all. What does bother me the most is that these ppl need services, for the right reasons. Imagine how many times they have been let down by these same 'services' and not be paranoid of'help'. Right at the point where are starting to do well, the rug is pulled from them saying their time is up. WTH ? That's when they're needed the most! There shouldn't be a time frame on this, as each individual is different. I don't have the answer but this..whatever this is. Is NOT the answer. 😡 🙏❤🙏

Even if we gave them services, they will eventually turn them down. Until we get mandated treatment and proper recovery hospitalization none ting will change. Also, until we can secure the border and really crack down on the drug trade, which the US is complicit, this will become the way of America.

This is sad to see 😢, I’ve never been an addict, but I cut hair for alot of addicts when I go to the homeless camps and shelters and I try to be a nice calm loving person in their lives in that moment. This is one reasons that motivates me to get into law enforcement, to help clean up these streets or to help keep the people behind bars that poison our streets

I'm so confused I just watched another vlog that showed particularly Kensington Ave Nov 21-24, 2023 cleaned up. That raised red flags for me. How could you move that many people that were laying on the streets for many, many, many blocks? Where did they go? Were they moved to another part of the city and if so how? Who moved them ? Were they moved to facilities for treatment? It raises Red Flags for me. The bigger question becomes if you can move all the people that were on Kensington Avenue that quickly. Why did the city let that street get that bad in the first place.? Just asking? Make it make sense?
