Stayed there last month. It is absolutely gorgeous. Very soothing on the eyes compared to pretty much everywhere else. The casino action was calm but vibrant. I rather enjoyed myself there. For a 3 day stay, (sans gambling) only cost me about $1,800. (I made more from the blackjack tables so I'm not complaining)

We stayed at the Fontainebleau hotel casino back during the international builders show in late February 2024. Totally enjoyed the experience. It is very convenient to the convention center as it is literally a walk across the street to the new expansion of the Las Vegas convention center. While there’s plenty of new retail space that will be opening in the future, the restaurants were very good. I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and well laid out.

Last time we stopped by Fontainebleau, just a few weeks back, we were actually impressed with the number of visitors there. It takes a while for a newer resort in Vegas to build up a steady clientele. I remember the first year when Aria opened it was often a ghost town, yet slowly but surely it developed a steadily increasing fanbase. Granted, the lack of foot traffic due to Fontainebleau's North Strip location might slow its growth a bit, but then again its proximity to the Convention Center should help make up for that lack of foot traffic.

The Fontainebleau is a very beautiful hotel. The food at Don's Prime is excellent with great servers and a gorgeous dining room. It is pricey but around the same price at SW Wynn and Prime Bellagio.

Been there a few times when I'm Vegas. Interior wise, it's gorgeous. Lot's of great restaurants, very tasty food. The huge issues that it has is location. It's far from the strip & other hotels & by itself next to the convention center. Their initial marketing was their let down. They didn't do any tier matching with other hotels (they do now), didn't market to the convention crowd & didn't market to the locals. I have heard they are really changing their marketing approach now & trying to lure in the convention folks.

I think the money trail on building this resort would be interesting. Lot investors and banks lost a ton of money on the outset of the project. You say the "original owners" returned bought "back" the complex, but are they really the original owners, or a company that took the name? The current owners only paid a fraction of the costs to build that resort - since most of it was lost by previous investors. All they really had to do was complete the interior.

And they continue to build. due to desert heat and water issues it will never be like a go to destination. it will be go to destination for a short time always. it is not sin city per se as you can do sin in any city for that matter.

Welcome to Vegas! While it's true that the FB is in "Winchester," Winchester is a "town," which under Nevada law is just some lines on the map -- everything that a town does is controlled by the county anyway. (A "city" -- like Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, or Henderson -- works as you'd expect.) Watching the FB from close-up since it opened, it's apparent that ownership don't know much about running casinos. It wouldn't be the first time a real-estate company tried to run a casino, with limited success -- the Sahara spent a few years as "SLS" with about the same result.

Maybe it’s on purpose and your thing and obviously you have a ton of subscribers, but , I would *highly* recommend…breathing while speaking, working on vocal variety, and not ‘pushing’ in your voice for every sentence, making every phrase sound the exact same, and very monotone. I would never normally comment like this, and Evidently it bothers no one else on here, but I had to mute the sound. Practice the sound and the air coming from deeper down in your body, and projecting “out there” further, instead of tightening it up and only coming from the head area. Also the FB is beautiful inside but was a little too “spacious” on the floor . Rooms are beautiful.

So they go bankrupt everyone gets screwed then they come buy it back? Must be nice right. Do you think you can do that if you go bankrupt? Nope. It looks like it doesn’t have many balconies and i don’t understand this in Vegas. Balconies are hard to come buy-i love a lot of Hotel Casinos but Cosmo always has my business because i always want a balcony wherever i go. Just look at all the reviews or KZread videos. People love the balconies and i don’t understand how the new hotels don’t hear that and make balconies on every room. I’m not in room much but when i am I’m on balcony with my iPad playing and just chilling in the dry air and no bugs. I’m from Florida so we like outside. Well most do-others whine it’s hot in Summer than they want the cold air then whine when it’s cold in winter , lol. More balconies Vegas!

You’ve got to stop the loud background music, I had to stop listening, it’s not easy to listen to if you’ve got hearing issues

So tired of hearing the same remarks over and over again. But it’s an attractive resort hotel. Not garish like so many others.

It will probably eventually go bankrupt again, sold, and then converted into condo housing
