I've been a mariachi for 35 years and I love what these young guys are doing. Entertainment is what it's all about. Originality and vitality! Keep doing what you're doing and us older guys will handle the "purists".

What could be more pleasing then a fine Mexican dinner and then be entertained by glorious Mariachi Music? Like I was at Mr. Hernandez`s Mariachi Sol De Mexico restaurant for my birthday treat in California.

Estos chavos están dando a conocer el carisma de México y los rechazan los mismos mexicanos, las personas que de verdad hacen quedar mal a México son políticos que sólo se fijan en sus propios intereses y no en los de la patria. Don't see why people are getting offended. I myself play trumpet, mostly traditional philharmonic. Although this wasn't the typical and traditional style of mariachi, they still played and put their love and emotion into the music. Look how he teared up at the end. He's closer to a dream and he's doing what he loves AND he is entertaining the people. It was with a mariachi twist, I even said this wasn't the typical and traditional style. Think of it like a rock song being made into an acoustic version and complaining about that. Try to have an open mind next time :)

Dude no. If you were Mexican, you would know why we think this is absurd. You can free style whatever the heck you wan't. But something that is a tradition to us, like the Mariachi, stays as that.

I've seen this band live!!!! These guys energy was amazing. It's been like 4 years since i saw them at a wedding and people still talk about them. I wish they could have paid their way to Las Vegas.

I am Mexican I love Mariachi music a lot, however I really like what they did... we need to have courage to do big changes, believe in ourselves and not to be afraid to fail... I think they did good and I am pride that some "paisanos" have the courage and strength to do it, we need to be open to accept changes... they are not asking you to like it, they just are showing that talent is everywhere and they have it!

I met these guys at Pancitos Mexican restaurant in San Antonio Texas. They are one of the nicest guys.

This was fantastic!!! These guys showing one of Mariachi's most beautiful abilities, to turn everything into a party. Good job fellas!!.

Most people are on here complaining that this isn't TRADITIONAL Mariachi music.. GET OVER IT! They aren't the norm but they are entertaining! Don't judge them if you don't know them! For all you know, they could also be doing classic Mariachi songs when they get booked for gigs as well as throw in a little bit of flavor. They are getting paid so I'm sure they couldn't care less what y'all say. They all have a deep cultural background in what they are doing & have been doing it for year!

El rock/blues/Jazz nació en Estados Unidos, afortunadamente no para quedarse ahí, ha inspirado a cientos y cientos de músicos, tanto estadounidenses como extranjeros, gracias a eso se ha creado música hermosa en cada rincón del planeta. Y eso sólo mencionando a 3 géneros. ¿Por qué aferrarnos a que el mariachi es sólo nuestro? Carajo, que el mundo sepa más del folclor mexicano, yo no había oído de nadie que comenzará a experimentar con la música tradicional mexicana. El mariachi tradicional ahí está y siempre estará, pero puede trascender, pueden salir subgéneros interesantes. Repito apegándome a los ejemplos de arriba, todos los miles de subgéneros no existirían si la gente se hubiese cerrado y aferrado a que esa música sólo era suya. No sean estúpidos, si así fuera les apuesto que más de la mitad de su música favorita no existiría.

My dad is right there in that video his name is Rico Contreras and I'm his daughter, in that video I was 3 years old and now I'm nine I want to be just like my father and live my life singing out to the world. Maybe next year my dad will take me to audition, and I bet I Wil make my whole family proud of me because I followed my heart.

QUE??!! enverdad no puedo creer que a alguien no le guste esto esto es entretenimiento señores que por esto los mariachis estan quedando mal? soy mexicano y me gusta todo tipo de musica y me gusta ver como gente talentosa como estas crean cosas nuevas no veo yo en ningun sentido por que estan quedando mal los mariachis por hacer esto en un show donde lo que importa es el talento. querian que tocaran "cielito lindo"? es AMERICA'S GOT TALENT por dios de eso se trata de hacer algo nuevo no??

estoy de acuerdo contigo a veces es necesario reinventar y salir de lo tradicional para lograr cosas nuevo, a mi en lo particular me gusto la participacion de este mariachi en un programa como AGT he visto videos de otros mariachis (incluso de Mexico) que tocan canicones de los Beattles o Michael Jackson. Aunque respeto las opiniones de las demas personas.

Soy mexicano y esta mezcla me gusto y pues como dicen ellos , es un mariachi estilo joven y muy dado a la actualidad para muchos , y se que el verdadero MARIACHI son hermosas y gigantescas musicas 1000% mexicana pero lo de ellos es diferente y unico y crean o no el ritmo tiene ese pequeño efecto que aunque no quieras te hace bailar , Para si son buenos y ojala sigan sacando mezclas propias de ellos tengo un poco de fe que lo haran muy bien , P.D. en vez de Agredir , Disminuir, Insultar y demas deberias de apoyar a los que tratan de dar la cara por nostros alla ellos lo hicieron a su manera y conquistaron a todo el publico Estado Unidense , hicieron por lo menos hacer hablar en en español a los jueces aunque sea una palabra , y con eso se hace el cambio si yo fuera de otro pais asi fuera latino americano o sur americano o auropeo los apoyaria en vez de CRITICAR , si tienen esa oportunidad pues que lo aprovechen sinceramente.

El Mariachi es una tradición de México pero ya desde hace tiempo el Mariachi a evolucionado y aqui en México no es novedad ni mucho menos sorpresa que realicen covers o mezclas de musica contemporanea...a final de cuentas el Mariachi es para alegrar y hechar el relajo es, algo que caracteriza al Mariachi, tal es el caso de esta agrupación y pues instrumentalmente estan dentro del margen del Mariachi asi que no veo ofensa alguna...pues en ningun momento se estan mofando o faltandole al respeto a nadie e incluso hay Mariachis en la actualidad que cuentan con discografias de covers uno de ellos Mariachi Rock-o...asi que mis amigos tranquilos no pasa nada saludos!
