Three more ballparks right here! - • America's Classic Ball...
By 1923, fifteen iconic baseball stadiums had been built so fans could enjoy America's wonderful pastime. By the time this documentary was filmed, four of those fifteen ballparks remained standing as they had when they were first built (without experiencing any upgrades): Wrigley Field, Tiger Stadium, Comiskey Park, and Fenway Park. Jeff Daniels hosts this inside-look at the legendary Fenway Park told by those who knew it the best.

Considering how much I love Wrigley Field, I would probably love watching a game at Fenway. With almost all the classic ballparks are gone, so I really appreciate Wrigley and Fenway.

While Fenway and Wrigley weren’t the best old baseball fields, they should be forever preserved to remind people what ballparks used to be.

I'm a lifetime Yankees fan. I visited Fenway in 1979. The locals could not have been nicer. Of course, the Sox were playing KC! That helped! Wonderful place to watch a game. Two games!

I wish I could have seen a game at Shibe Park in Philadelphia. Looking out in front and seeing the outside and walking through the doors is a feeling I wish I could have had. The stadium where Connie Mack and the A’s won 5 championships.

Here's a little fun fact: Ken Coleman (16:39) was a Red Sox broadcaster for a lot of years; however, he was a Reds TV broadcaster from 1975-1978. Of course, the Reds and Red Sox played the 1975 World Series. Unfortunately, he was not in the broadcast booth for the 1975 Series. Neither were his Reds TV partner Woody Woodward or Reds radio broadcaster Joe Nuxhall.

I'm a Cincinnati Reds fan, I live in Cincinnati, but I do follow the Sox, and when were out of it (which has been ALOT as of late) I root the red Sox on. I want to come to fenway, I am mad at Cincinnati for that, we got rid of crosley field for riverfront and great American park, atleast you all still have your history.

Big reason why the Red Sox were so terrible between their AL Pennants in 1946 & 1967 was Yawkey’s racism...could have signed Jackie Robinson & Willie Mays but he didn’t sign a black player until the league forced him to in 1959 when they signed Pumpsie Green

I've been at Fenway twice. The first time I had a seat on the left field foul line. The section was V shaped, and I was in the one seat at the bottom of the V. With the angle, I could look straight into the catcher's glove. It was a great seat. The next time was down the right field line, and the view was the worst I ever had in a major league park. I missed the first three innings because fans coming late to the game blocked my view walking in the aisle. The seat was further back than the first time. So be forewarned. There are some good views in Fenway, but there are many seats not worth the price.

The right field grandstand was where us working class families could get tickets cause they were only $20...there are a lot of obstructed views in that section but it is great for mid July day games

I first visited Fenway when it looked like this. For years we genuinely thought we'd lose it, just like we lost the Boston Garden. Its much different now but its still here. And its America's most beloved ballpark. I just wish they'd stop doing concerts and hockey. Its a ball field!!
