AMD is the most advanced competitor of NVDA and as stock performance for now, has a huge potential I think.

Hey Bob, can you do a video on Arm Holdings? I think there is a lot of opportunity in that stock given that the SEC stepped in and did not allow Nvidia to acquire them. I believe that Arm Holdings will benefit not only Nvidia, but also AMD, Intel, Palantir, etc as Nvidia continues to face supply issues. It is a nice stock that should grow commensurately with other AI markets looking to expand their capabilities.

I've been watching some of your other videos and I gotta say, great stuff! I recently set a daily reoccuring investment (Mon - Fri) of $25 into TSM and $25 into AMD and it feels so much better having it automated this way as opposed to constantly trying to "time the market" or stress about investing large amounts at once while chasing small dips.

The most significant aspect to me would be whether the AI sector will continue to grow at great speeds. If it does, and the lack of nVidia chips, a company like AMD could become in demand if they can provide a simular experience with their chips. Because nVidia chips are in short supply and cost a buttload of money. Interesting video; thanks for it.

Yeah I think the prior portfolio of products was a bit weak - but do like their focus on AI computing and data centers. Let me know once you think once you do some research!

AMD has been getting a premium over leader NVDA forever but never produced much earnings at all!

$245 would be nice but I’m expecting more of $200 by end of 2024. I don’t think any crazy increase till like 2027-2028

Great content. AMD has to prove it can compete with the ARM chips for heat dissipation and power consumption. Apple and Qualcomm have an advantage now.

Thanks for the stock if anything like Broadcom that you thought would do well we’ll be rich.

Bob doesn't disappoint. It was stupid of me to sell $76,000 worth of NVDA stocks without reinvesting. I might turn to cash soon if I don't. Any particulars? (Buying bonds or CDs is not for me).

GOOD QUESTION. I’ve been buying&holding for awhile especially now that it’s down a little bit. LONG TERM the stock will do exactly what it need to at least a risk I’m willing to take. Will it jump as high as nvidia??? Who knows but my expectations for the future are filled with no worries at all. I’m not in this for SHORT TIME GAINS that’s not my lane but LONG TERM 2-5-7 years from now I mean you may have better results🤷🏾‍♂️✌🏾

I like the individual stock reviews. I commented about AMD before to you I think last year. Using your stock pick Method I didn’t really like AMD. I liked Qualcomm (Qcom) better and it pays dividends.

What will be the result of the federal probe on NVDA for antitrust? Will they have to allow AMD to produce similar chips?

AMD has a very chance of being the next Nvidia. Could be going towards $200 after this consolidation.

So maybe how to find the true value of a house, what you can realistically afford, if you should wait for the housing market crash, red flags to pay attention to etc etc. That might be too broad to cover in one video but anything like that in today's market would be awesome!

When I realised I was too late for Nvidia, I bought AMD and Intel. Can't wait for the big market crash to buy even more!!! TSLA is also on my list with their 10k$ robots

I love the comparison! I always compared AMD to Nvidia to apple and Microsoft. Obviously (like Windows XP during Windows prime days there was still a Market for competitors, but Windows was the obvious winner) Then Microsoft fucked up and released Vista. Even though Apple computers were more expensive.. people were willing to pay double price for a MacBook Pro than a basic windows computer cause it was worth it. With that being said flip it around, and AMD will continue putting out product that is more affordable yet meets the consumer’s needs. Leaving huge market competition

Nvidia with a huge cash pile for M&A and state of the art Ai assisted EDA tools will be not a static target 🎯 for AMD to catch up

Probably in the next 4 to five years provided AMD can produce AI chips that can beat Nvidia and sell at a fat margin comparable to Nvidia. They are currently putting so much R&D money and hoping they succeed. Cheers!!

amd went from could do nothing wrong to can't do anything right. The fanboys still love lisa su, but there is an issue because she has failed shareholders for over 2 years and counting. If she doesn't turn the company around in the next 6 months I am gone.

They grew thanks to NVIDIA primarily & then Intel. They won't be the next NVIDIA, their products do not attract people as much as their competitor and all their metrics are pretty damn bad for investors. I know it sounds silly when you see how good the stock has performed, but many thought they would become the next NVIDIA and they are still not there, they do not have the marketing power of NVIDIA & Intel and they're lacking strong partnership to expand their product lines. Also they're using the same manufacturer as NVIDIA so if NVIDIA chips are harder to get, AMD would too. And they do not perform the same!

@@BobSharpe They are leading in a lot of small areas and yet their finances aren't looking good... Margins are too thin, ROCE is weak for a tech company, FCF is awful and they're diluting investors so much! On their product side, they've eaten Intel marketshare by a fair amount but they're competing on many fronts with NVIDIA + Intel + Qualcomm + ARM. IMO AMD is a risky stock at the moment because they're so much overvalued based on NVIDIA's hype for IA. They're nothing like them and people should be careful, they're overvalued like crazy.

Would be ridiculous for AMD to run like NVDA. It's lucky to be a $160 stock. In a sane world it's worth no more than $50, but as we live a clown world these days it's totally possible to see it moon. Just like with NVDA, the fact it broke over the market cap of both MSFT and AAPL even for a short time is ridiculous. 20-25b in revs a quarter? WITH 25 BILLION SHARES. NVDA should be a $25 stock post split. But, back to beginning.... clown world.
