For long life of your AIO I recommend switching the hoses on the rad to the bottom not the top. Causes dry pumping and pump wine.

The hose will touch the pcb of the gpu. Unless it has a backplate.

@@vinoyskitv3437 If you route them using the natural influence of the directionally flexible nozzles on the pump head they shouldn't on any ATX sized mobo. I have a ThermalTake Water 3.0 in the #2 PC here beside me with a rear 120mm radiator & the hoses routed low, with a similar sized GPU and they have about 3" of routing clearance off the GPU circuit board using natural influence of the directional nozzles attached to the CPU pump. That's what they are for. Exactly the same with my wife's #3 PC which has a similarly configured 120mm radiator Corsair H55 in it.

Nice to see that you cleverly convert the existing fan for AIO push pull... But the RGB fan was wasted on pull ... The RGB hub should have resit to behind for cleaner internal

I usually taped ends of the front panel connector together before pulling out so its easy to put them back together. Also, could have swapped the fans of the radiator with the rgb. The rgb fan became useless. Just my thoughts. Thanks

Very necessary, some standoffs were in the wrong position and could have caused short circuit.

one question for you man! did you need to make bios update for asus rog strix motherboard in order to work properly with ryzen 5 3600 or it worked without it when you made the setup?

What is the point of this if you don't show us the difference of temperature after you installed the new cooling system...?

Helped put together a Ryzen 5 3600 build the other day with a Cool Master unit. We'd fitted a Gigabyte 5700 XT to the unit too. The temperatures seemed to be through the roof inside / around the case. Would you recommend installing the radiator at the top of the case and keeping additional front fans, or should the air that's been pulled through the radiator (3 in our case) be cooling the case as well as proving cooling for the CPU ?

Make sure there is a plastic film to remove from the contact of the cooler master AIO liquid cooler. The front of the case should pull in some cool air while other parts of the case might pull out the hot air

@@KLGamers The AIO seems to be running fine. Needed to ramp up the fans though as they were running around 900rpm. I think it's the 5700 that's causing the problem. The temps were hitting around 110 yesterday. Hoping ramping up the case fans have helped to cool it down.

I think you should make more video s about how to change thermal paste on different gpu s and something whould be awesome :DD

@@dnbsoldier6553 no i mean b450 Tomahawk Max. it is better than this motherboard in this price range. ram oc support 4133MHz, while this motherboard support 3200 oc. its a personal choise but i wouldnt recommend asus rog strig for better performance

Nice upgrade but hey wait a minute. I have the same ROG B450 F Gaming MOBO and have ARGB fans but I am not getting ARGB effects only RGB coz the mobo does not have ARGB headers(only 2 RGB). How come ure getting ARGB affects on those ARGB FANS ??

For me push pull configuration is okay but in aestetics you should put the rgb fan on top and your cable management is D+ for me for me its make me sick

I ask because Im setting up a build and PCPartsPicker is saying "Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions." Not sure if ill run into problems or not......

Whats wrong exactly? As long as the pump is lower than the radiator tube connection bit it will work fine. Keeping the air pocket out of the pump is the main thing

@@kingpinuk880 becasue there is a air pocket at the top were the tubes are and it wont get alot of flow. and the pump will burn out from spinning really fast . Tubes Should be on the bottom. Look it up. I flipped mine around when i found this out and I got 6 degrees Cooler and the pump was so much more silent. Gamer nexus proved all of this if you wanna go check it out/

Maybe you will need update BIOS. If your motherboard box comes with a silver color AMD Ryzen 2000 series Ready sticker, most likely you will need to update BIOS before you can use a AMD Ryzen 3000 series processor. If your motherboard box comes with a orange color AMD Ryzen 3000 series Ready sticker, it comes with new BIOS , most likely it will support a AMD Ryzen 3000 series processor out of the box

you can buy a fan hub

just don't use 2 fans and use that RGB on the front of the radiator and screw the radiator directly to the case :)
