Hey..... Ambuyat the same as Indonesian's popeda. This is my first time knowing Brunei's foods and language, I'm happy that the three of us (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei) have almost the same foods, language, and culture. Love my neighbors.

I am very glad they even researched the background from where Ambuyat came from! It is very refreshing to see foreigners trying to find out about our traditional dishes!
They could just speak in english. In Brunei learning english is compulsory and it is considered as the second language.

When did these people come to brunei? 😂 I was busy preparing for o level last year, that I didn't know this happen. 😂
my fav food is ambuyat.
hi im from brunei and Ambuyat is our national food, and our sultan is one of the richest sultan in the world with a waping 30 billion dallars and has a age cold The Golden Age in witch the hole borneo island is under brunei control, the sultan bolkiah house is protected by large walls with 65 copper cannon, 6 iron cannon with 300 guards with spears and dagger that is decorated by gold and pearl. This is writen by Antonio Pigafetta in his diary
Was my second home for 8 years... peaceful place. Love it. Food and everything are cheap because it tax free country. Brunei $ is 1:1 with Singapore $. If you travel oversea simply walk in to any bank or money change to swap your Brunei $ to S$.
It is ambuyat kbs. :) . It is a traditional food from Sabah too. :)

when it comes to food similarities in Southern Asia, of course we will refer to history 😂😂 Even before there's Brunei, Malaysia, & Indonesia, we're all called as Malay Archipelago or known as The Islands of Spice or Pulau Nusantara😄😄 Of course there's not much different in food cuisine 😊
