It turns out that houses don’t really need a kitchen or a large counter at all. You can fit a small kitchen counter in the living room.

They are so useful for so many different projects!

God I hope you guys did some engine repair in that thing. We used to keep a hammer to smack the turbo when it seized so it’d do more than 50mph on 61. And I hope somebody bleached every single surface. Twice.

@@northernyurtlife2968 well if you ever need an idea for a one. You just hop in that beast and head down to the keys. From there we can take my boat to dry tortugas, Cuba, or the Bahamas.

Very cool! Is the stove being next to the bed a fire hazard? Or did you put up a fireproof divider of some sort?

We haven't had any issues yet! We do plan to put up a divider but so far so good!

Alot of these builds are awesome but why do most keep the red emergency lights and light bars, does it make you feel important.

Legally we had to get rid of the emergency lights but to replace them is VERY expensive so we just spray painted them instead and left them to save money!

What're things I should know to do a project similar to this?

Ten bucks says that they didn’t replace the gas engine with an electric engine.

Gas cooker will splash grease onto the bed 😥

We thought the same thing and planned a wall in between the bed and stove but honestly it hasn’t been an issue yet! We will do that eventually though

I do not get why people put a stove by the bed it straight feels like fire prone I do not get why so many videos do that when watching conversions

How do you find a used ambulance. What year is your rig and what kind of money have you invested. We built a 6 x 12 cargo trailer for about 7. Just might want to get into one of these

We are both a part of the local volunteer fire department and heard about it through the grapevine! They are definitely hard to come by but so worth it as a conversion because of their set up and space. We have invested about $4,000 in repair / conversion and that was worth every penny! It is a 2008 and we are hoping to get many trips out of it!

We purchased most of our items from Panther RV Products, including our stove and we absolutely love it!

If you painted it to look less ambulance, why buy a ambulance 🚑.

We love everything about the conversion of ambulance's, they are set up perfectly for conversion but wanted it to look and feel homey!
