This is the westernmost part of the dedicated bicycle path in Montreal. Future west the trail mixes with city streets. It is a pleasant ride along the Lachine Riverside bicycle path. The trip is about 5 KM. This path is in very good condition. There are a two parts of the trail that deviates from the bank of the river and follows the sidewalk along the roadside to avoid a marina or building. There are many interesting bridges and passages to explore. The trail is lined with small outdoor art. There are many places to sit and enjoy the view of Lac Saint-Louis. It is an urban area but along the waterfront you can easily forget all that and get lost in the views.
