Madam Mim is from Sword and the Stone. The cards play out the wizard battle between her and Merlin. Really cool that they found a way to turn the scene into a game mechanic

The Mims and Merlins cards are the most thematic cards to date in Lorcana, Their dynamic is sooo cool!

The Fox's name is Nick Wilde.

i have similar deck on pixelborn but i play Arthur, which is good to get more lore, i unfortunately have opened al ot of chapter 1 packs and still not one Rapunzel.

This video must’ve been filmed a long time ago if you think Merlin goat is bad…

It was! It was actually filmed before the set officially came out. Chapter two cards were on Pixleborn early, but we wanted to wait and get the Box opens out 1st. At the time this was the top of the meta.

@@LorcanaAcademy still is one of the top meta decks, it’s just a bit different now. No need for a card draw package (besides friends) when your opponent is dead on turn 4

Rapunzel feels a little odd. I don’t think there’s enough creatures that can survive combat to be able to remove damage from. Yes the card draw is really good, but how relevant is it?

Maybe I wasn't completely clear - Rapunzel wasn't a great fit in the deck because usually if my characters were damaged, they were also dead. Adding some bigger butts like Smee would leverage her ability better. Obviously goat is a powerful effect, just not sure whether it was possible to make a better version where Rapunzel was stronger.

That makes a lot more sense. I thought Rapunzel seemed like a weird choice given the number of 1 and 2 willpower characters.

This deck is incredibly fun, but just auto-loses to steel sadly :(

I love this deck. But it's too risky to play in competitive at the moment. Too many people playing Steel Songs.
