Ambedkar's views on Buddhism and Marxism

Ambedkar gave a speech titled “Buddha or Karl Marx” at the Fourth Conference of the Buddhist World Fellowship in 1956, where he compared Marx, the architect of a political ideology, alongside Buddha, a religious figure; seemingly two incommensurable figures at the outset.
However, Ambedkar did not feel anything odd about this comparison.
This was because, for Ambedkar, both Buddhism and Marxism were representing “just social ends” and entailed a political project within themselves that is concerned with the emancipation of the exploited.

Not many know about Tatya Tookaram Padwal, his book Jatibhed Viveshkar [under the pseudonym Ek Hindu]-heavily influencing B R Ambedkar in framing his concepts and methodologies in caste politics..

You should also show why Ambedkar preferred Buddhism over Marxism.

This is so disingenuous. It makes it seems as if Ambedkar equated them. He was dead set against Marxism, and that's why the video leaves the question unanswered at the end.

Marx talked about class conflict. Ambedkar clearly says in his book caste as root cause of poverty for the marginalized community in India. We would be doing great injustice if we attribute Marxist ideals towards ambedkar. Of course ends may be similar which it is for most system. But the context is totally different here.
