Absolutely fantastic! THIS is the type of human being we need in our world. Balanced, fair, empassioned and truth speaking. He means it when he says he does not condemn the Israeli people. He knows that blame and hate brings NOTHING!!! Personally, if anyone should be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize ( if it is even worth anything anymore!!!) it is Husam Zomlot!!! I will follow him in the coming months and years because I believe he holds great abilities and can lead people to a solution. Respect!!

I ❤ Dr Zomlot. I have been fortunate enough to see him speak live on two occasions. I hope he knows the outpouring of love and respect that so many British people have for him, and for the Palestinian cause. Personally, I feel a strong connection to the plight of Palestine via our historical links to situation they are faced with today.

This man is not Hamas. He is a normal human being striving for a normal life him and his fellow Palestinians. Don’t confuse the two as Israeli and most western media would have you believe

Systems and processes have been devised by those powerful only to prolong their dominance. The answer to many challenges is to secure power and effect fairness and balance on the systems l mentioned above.

I am not saying Israel is without fault, however, they need to take a look at themselves too, I saw they had great plans to take down fences and walls and to share all the land together, quietly and peacefully, with Palestine with them .

For the very simple within society ! It’s like someone who has been persecuted in Europe and you offer them a room to stay in your home, they come and kick you and your family out your house! I'm sorry to say the the denying of their rights seemingly so important to Husam Zomlot has been a position that the PLO has also promoted and encouraged in order to exercise their power & control over the peoples of Palestinian. The PLO have used those they profess to champion & support as bargaining chips in the internal politics of the Palistinian groups and in international pan-Arab politics.

They are and will be outnumbered soon enough. Although the mainstream media shows no interest in showing them, there are worldwide mass protests happening against the Israeli government. Evidently there are plenty of compassionate humans out there who are capable of treating humans equally.

in 1400 year of islam rule they never gave the palestinians any land or any rights for that matter. so, why should israel do it ? where is the logik here ?

In 1400 years of Islam rule the 3 Abrahamic religions lived together in relative harmony in stark contrast to what you see today under Israel. Many Palestinian people owned land within Palestine whichwas stolen from them when they were forcibly driven out in 1947/48.

The muslims in Palestine were all sunnis so there was no fighting between them. It had been occupied by the Ottomans after which it should have become a state because of the size of its population. It had the right to self determination as do all lands after occupation. Instead it was occupied again by the zionists with the help of the British starting with the Balfour declaration in 1917. There have always been disputes within religions, catholics versus protestants; Spanish Inquisition; differences between orthodox jews regarding Israel, etc. Maybe you should read up some history.

Go there on holiday, read the history books. The answers are obvious. I had the most enlightening travelling trip in Israel and West Bank, seeing the argument from both sides. This man speaks the truth (and if you want the evidence, I will help with that) At the very least you must appreciate the intellect of this man.

I feel for this man who obviuosly is forced to beg for some justice from the very people that keep on oppressing palestine.. it must touch the heart of any human being to watch this person ask for less than what should be full reparations. Dealing with the people who have closed both eyes to the stealing of an identity of a nation. Israel should be disbanded and the state returned to the palestinian people to do as they wish, this regime should also be punished for crimes against humanity, i feel palestine is entitled to much much much more than what they are asking ,give these people back their dignity and what belongs to them.
