    that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+

    AWS bought the Israel startup *Annapurna Labs* for getting into Chips business. Graviton4 is ARM64 CPU from AWS and competes against Grace-CPU from NVidia. *Trainium* and *Inferentia* are TPUs from Annapurna Labs (more like GPUs) and compete against Blackwell GPUs from NVidia. *Graviton5* will compete against *Vera-CPU* from NVidia by 2027. So the race is only getting more exciting over next 3 years.

  • @nannybear

    @nannybear

    You missed the whole point of the video. Graviton is a general purpose compute chip and won't have much impact on the overall chip market because it's an internal product for AWS. It's purpose is to give AWS customers a budget friendly option at scale and limit the price scaling of partners such as AMD and Intel within their own network. Amazon will not compete in AI hardware nor will any other chip manufacturer for the foreseeable future. It's mostly due to the fact that all foundational models are developed on CUDA and developers are lazy. If you don't give them a significant reason to port years of work to another architecture (something like 1000x less power or 1000x more compute).
