Right on!

I assembled and did a ring liner coating on it . Then added lights all the way around

You could have installed the u-bar upside down to make screwing the screws in go from the top

Go ahead and put a basket up there. You can put on some rotopax gas cans, awning, kayaks, cargo holder, and supplies boxes. Very useful

whats the tubular size? I want to buy an awning bracket that clamps on the perimeter tubing from GZilla as im buying basket and cant find any information on the tubing size.

I think I'll buy one for my 2021 4Runner. I want something that mounts to my cross bars that I bought and paid for because they don't come with the side rails. So this looks good.

So this video has been up for a year how has it held up?

Hey I have a question, I have an ‘06 mercury mountaineer with the rails up top similar to yours. Do I need a rack like that one to install a rooftop pop up tent or will my rails support the tent platform? Thanks!!

I would think you would need something similar to this. I’m thinking the rails you currently have will have too much space between them to support the tent platform.

I didn’t. So far no signs of any kind of problems.

And did it pop out a hole bunch of baby racks

I would take it back apart and fill the tubes with expanding foam if I were you. If you don’t; when it rains it will rust on the inside of the metal frame and the rust water will leak all over the roof. Head my warning

Paint has faded some but no issues besides that.

Sucks it’s $150 after tax and reviews stated there’s rust and leaks after rainfall. One star ⭐️

Do you notice any whistling when driving?

I have the same rack on my 2017 Subaru Forester and 3 months in, so far haven’t.
