Very frequent traveler here. I hate living out of a suitcase. I like to unpack and put the suitcase away. With packing cubes, I just take them out, open them, and lay them in drawers, shelves, etc. Not only is it quick and easy, but it keeps my things clean.

I do like the compression cubes that I tried out. I will have to try regular packing cubes. I like the idea of just opening them and placing them into a drawer because I cannot live out of a suitcase either. Thanks for the tip!

I use the compression packing cube. If TSA has to go through my suitcase, it’s easy for them to check my suitcase. When I get to the hotel I unzip the packing cube, I leave my clothes in the packing cube and put it in the draw.

You can use the folding clothes hangers as clothes drying lines as well with a few clipping pegs. Really useful.

That's a great idea!

No more checking bags for me. The huge mirror is great but cannot see packing that. Love the tiny Venus shaver. I have one and it is nice to have a dedicated space and safe holder for shaver. The contraption for holding your phone on plane is useful. I will be getting that!

If you're doing carry on only then that mirror will take up too much space. However, it's a great mirror. I have recently come across one that's very flat and I think I'm going to order that one to try out.

You can also use upside down glasses or put your phone in a clear baggie and poke a hole and put it on your tray table clip. The mirror is too big and bulky. Save space for other things. All hotels etc have mirrors.

I never realized how big of a difference it would make until I got one. I wish I switched out my 2 wheel ones sooner!

I love love love my packing cubes - I hate rifling through my bag to find stuff in a hurry (not all accomodation has drawers or even more than a few hooks on a wall) especially if on a tour where you are rarely more than one or two nights in one place - no way are you going to bother unpacking every night after a busy day sightseeing only to have to repack again extremely early the next morning. So packing cubes are perfect. As others said when you do have a wardrobe and drawers you can put the whole packing cubes in and just leave them open. I have one for swimming gear (if accom has a pool I want to be in it) with swimmers, shorts, sarong, travel towel, thongs, hat (I am a plus-sized aussie - thongs are flip-flops where as dental floss size undies are called g-strings 😂) etc One for underwear & pjs/kimono, one for pants and skirts, one for t-shirts/tops. Sometimes if I am going away for just a couple of days and I already know the weather and events I am going to I will pack complete outfits into separate bags (including jewellery & shoes) that way I don’t have to stress about what to wear and forgetting anything that would complete the outfit. I tend to be an early riser and hate annoying my hubby or any other travelling companion (sister, friend) looking for early morning walking clothes or swimmers so having that stuff already separate and organised means I can grab it and get changed quickly and quietly. For me there is nothing worse than travelling with someone who wastes half their day trying to decide what to wear or an hour on their make up - we’re where we are to explore and enjoy our surroundings not be stuck in the room or bathroom 😅

I did like the compression cubes and have used them a few times now. I like the idea of the organization packing cubes will give and they fact that you can just take it straight out of your luggage and into the drawers etc at a hotel.

I do the same. I use the packing cubes to organize my clothes for the trip, but when I unpack - they go right into the drawer (even before the pandemic I was a germaphobe and didn't want my clothes in the drawers without a barrier) so the packing cubes really helped. I haven't tried the suction cubes yet but plan to for my cruise in May.

I had never used packing cubes before, and I was a serial over-packer. I learned how to do a capsule travel wardrobe, and used packing cubes for the first time in 2019. I absolutely love them, and can't pack without them now! I have that 4-n-1 container for toiletry items, and it works really well for me! I only use it for car travel, though.

Maybe I will try out some packing cubes on my next trip, several people have recommended them.

I am a serial overpacker. Always have been, always will be. I don't think I could be without the luggage scale. It truly is a lifesaver. I use packing cubes for my toiletries, in my weekend bag. I like that I can pull out one and it's all my shower needs, pull out the other, and it's my face/get ready for bed routine stuff. It fits perfectly in the small bag. I don't use one in my larger bags.

Yeeessssssss! I cannot travel without that scale, it has saved me and my friends many times.

With you on the liquids container, now I don’t have to buy it and be disappointed. It seems bulky as one can buy 4 slim spray bottles saving space for the Venus razor 😂. Thank you, you’re the “I’ll try it so you don’t have to” influencer 😊

Love your video! I used to be a chronic overpacked too. Three or four times ago when i went to Hawaii i had a huge suitcase as usual. I wrote everything down on a notepad and i highlighted it when i used it. I ended up not using 2/3 of what i took. I still use that notepad as a guide to packing. The last few times i have gone to Hawaii i have taken a small carryon and it has been perfect!!

I will have to try that method, but I on my last cruise (7 day) I feel like I did wear about 80% of what I packed. I am going to Maui in March and feel like I'm going to try and take everything but the kitchen sink lol.

My partner just keeps his shirts/T-shirts and trousers on their hanger into his suitcase. I get the hotel hangers and I just bring packing cubes, great when drawers space is very limited. Most of the time I just keep my clothes in these unless a dress or blouse . I feel It’s more hygienic as how often are do they wipe clean drawers .

I have always been an over packer, but I do use the majority of what I bring. So that's my justification haha

I love using packing cubes!! (but plan to test the compression version next trip). We are a family of 5 and I pack all of our stuff In two large suitcases. Every family member has their own packing cube color and it makes it so much easier to navigate all clothes when we get to our destination. Not sure I would use them if I would pack only for me though :) but for this mama I’d 3 boys they are a life saver hahaha

Packing cubes for the win, especially in a carryon if you get pulled for a security check - Undies don’t go flying everywhere! You can use one to pack a change of clothes in the bottom of your personal item just in case your luggage goes on a separate vacation from you. ;)

I've tried the mini venus. I prefer my regular razor, it works way better and takes up little space. How ever if your an overpacker this is great for that.

Awe, it worked great for me. My normal razor is a Venus razor, so I didn't see a difference in the shave. Is your normal razor a different brand? If so, maybe I will look into it if it gives a better shave.

Packing cubes. Never used them till my 1 suitcase got searched ny security and then left in a mess for the rest of the journey. 2. Did a road trip, arrived and there was not enough drawers for everyone, I had to live out of the suitcase. Hated the mess trying to find everything. Darn. It. I plan to buy them, packing cubes before my next big trip. Or compression, not sure which.

I always overpack, but I’m going to the UK and don’t want to check anything. Hoping cubes will get all my stuff there. I’m a size 24/26, so my clothes are big.

They did help, I feel like I was able to get a pretty good amount of clothing into them.

The mini razor is cute, but being in the case, it takes up more space than putting a cover on a regular razor. I get way more clothes in by rolling than I can using a compression cube. Like the concept, but doesn't work for me.

When I use the cubes, I now roll my clothes then compress. It does help me when I need a little extra space. I prefer the compression cubes over regular packing cubes any day. Regular packing cubes are a waste of time to me.

I'm getting the mirror. Did the compression cubes give you more space or the same amount as just packing the clothes??

The compression cubes did give a little more space, so I do recommend them. They also helped with the organization.

I am a new subscriber and am enjoying your content. I have a trip coming up and I would not go anywhere without my compression packing cubes. I try to always just do carry on and the compression packing cubes make that possible for me. They are Eagle Creek (I think that is correct) and I have had them for at least 5 years. They have proven very durable and very effective. I highly recommend them.

the power bank is too large for most air carriers - it's converting to 180-ish watt hours, max is generally 100 (yes, it varies by airline)

I've tried that pump dispenser. Its not idea especially for air travel. Not really packable for TSA liquids bag.

Yeah, that thing was terrible. I put the review in at the end of the video. It's bulky and hard to pump. It only gives you a tiny amount of product so you have to do like 10+ pumps, which is annoying.

Yes, I tend to put small items in them such as panties, socks, tops and camis. The don't fit our jeans, skirts dresses, etc. very well.
