Absolutely!

I remember being teared up to 500 slots without having anywhere near 500 designs. I questioned Amazon’s decision to do this. While it was a plus, it seemed unnecessary to give me so many slots when I only had about 59 filled. I think they're now scaling back and removing unused slots for those who don’t use them. There's nothing bad about this, in my opinion. I believe they're trying to scale accounts appropriately based on design portfolio size.

I just made it to tier 25 in the last month, so I haven’t been tiered down, but if I do at least I don’t have far to go 😅

Hello sir, Thank you for this video. I have noticed the BSR change and I am happy too. Also, I would like to kindly ask one question. You said in your video "I thought it's people who are buying a high tier account and then they're starting out with zero sales, zero designs on there and then Amazon merch kind of notices after a while well this account is tier 10000 but it's only had like 50 sales for example." so if anyone have 50 sales for example then how they upgraded in tier 10000? How this is possible? Can you please explain?

Thanks Philip, good topic to touch on! I have a regular account, and I’ve been staying at tier 500 for a long while now. I maxed out my design slots and I had to delete some of my old designs in order to publish new ones. What do you think is the best way to tier up again from tier 500?

No one can tell you how to tier up, only amazon decides that

I'm a graphic designer by trade and got rejected from the program, despite being a seasoned t-shirt designer. After my third rejection I gave up.

Keep trying! Some folks take multiple attempts - many more than 3 - before getting accepted. And definitely don’t interpret the rejections as any commentary on your design skills! They accept people in who have zero design skills (me, for example), because it’s a total luck of the draw scenario. So don’t take the rejections to heart, take them as a challenge.

Good news though it would be much better if Amazon could just fully terminate all bought accounts so that serious designers can have at least a change to get accepted into a tier 10 account. Which seems impossible now since a year or so.

Thanks for the video. I was tiered down on my daily uploads. I was tiered up to 100 with 40 daily uploads. Recently Amazon changed my daily uploads down to 20 daily.

This is not the same as tiering down though. Everyone was affected by the upload limits. Tiers and upload limits are 2 different things.

Merch changes upload limits all the time to creators on the platform depending on a number of factors. Completely different topic than a tier down.

Very disappointed to know that some of the popular POD youtubers were selling accounts illegally. The things people will do for a quick buck. Hope they get caught. You are one of the few POD youtubers I trust.

Don't have that problem, still being in tier 10. I hope this downgrading will not evolve in closing tier 10 accounts 😮

Good video Philip. That is great news on tier downs. It was good to see Merch staff taking action on the influencer accounts that were being sold. Plain and simple these accounts are being abused. I sent the leaked video to staff of Ryan Hogue instructing people how to "convert" their newly purchased accounts to their name, tax information etc recently purchased from him. It showed how to avoid detection and flags that these purchasers could get terminated for. Obviously knowing what they are doing is against TOS. Ryan's email instructions were sent in. Ryan wants to deny this and ban anyone mentioning the situation but he is at the hub of this controversy. I would go out on a limb and even say a number of people in your poll asking who bought accounts may be off due to people who voted no but really did purchase accounts. For those that may have been tiered down and did not buy an account I ask. Why do you need 10k or 1k if you are not using the slots anyway? Account selling is a cancer to the program currently and this may be a way that it is addressed.

Not hardly. Do you know how much money Amazon is making from some of us with advertising? They will always want that advertising money so I’m not worried about it as long as I’m spending money and earning well with the program. But if you aren’t selling and having figured out advertising, I think those people will have a bigger problem down the line. I think there are some big things in the store for the program and they are starting to weed out the people who are either not selling or not serious.

So BSR is back to normal as we know it? We look for 100K or less.

This make me so scared. I got started in tier 1000 when they gave me a new account because I was in the amazon influencer program. I had applied and got denied then a few months later I got a email that said congratulation you been accepted and I hadn't reapplied. I have almost all my slots filled 928 total. With no automation. I have been working so hard on uploading the last 6 months. I have had just over 200 sales but just started getting more lately.

I'm obviously not Amazon, but I think if you have 928 slots filled in tier 1000, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I've not heard of anyone losing existing listings in the process of tier-downs. And congrats on getting that many filled in a short time!

j avais un compte amazon merch mais apres une fraude une fuite de mes identifiants de mon compte il a ete fermé sauf que mes designs sont toujours en vente et amazon ne comprends pas ce que je leurs demande si mon compte est fermé pourquoi mes creations sont toujours en ligne? j ai du envoyer 100 emails ils me repondent toujours a coté et ne comprennent pas mon soucis......;

@@PhilipAnders it's my fault i'dont have ads I upload 300 design i get 17 sale with huge time consuming so i get bored and burned then i get some rest until I found tier 500 down
