On the pencil extender, I believe you need slide the metal ring back, then slide the pencil in, and keep it snug by sliding the ring back down

Thanks for your recommendation of the 101 Textures book, I think I'm going to check it out. I've always had difficulty drawing textures. The first drawing I attempted in Art class (ages ago), included a velvet blanket. It was a hot mess. I still have NO idea how to properly show the highs and lows, the folds, the shadows, etc... This book seems like it might be quite handy, so thank you!

Glad this was helpful-there is a section for fabric in the book-and one of them is velvet! I use this book all the time 😊

I have been looking for a pencil extender for my Luminance pencils for months and can’t find one that’s large enough😅
