Hello everyone,
In this episode, I'm sharing thrift finds with you.
Some of you might know that I love going to thrift shops, junk shops, recycling shops, charity shops, facebook market place and of course flea markets!
In May & June, I found a lot of amazing antiques & vintage items which I haven't shown you in my tours yet.
So I thought I should share them with you guys who are interested in looking at interesting & beautiful old things.

I have mended many a book as a library worker and sticky tape is the arch nemesis of paper! The adhesive of the tape eats through the paper very quickly. I used water based glue and fabric tape or acid free paper but considering how delicate the paper is on your magazine I would leave it as is & store & use it as carefully as possible.

The large copper jug was usually used water to fill tubs and other receptacles - you found it for a great price. The fabric looks like someone was going to embroider napkins with them - perhaps owls as it looks like owl eyes. Love the embroidery magazine as well. I always love your videos, thanks for sharing.

I love all your old finds...so interesting. However.. your silver colored lantern for tea lights is from IKEA. I have 2 that are the same. I can only dream about antiquing in France. 😃👋🇨🇦 I love your teacup bird feeders.

I too own the brass clip, with a slightly different design. I actually found mine in a charity shop in England. I know I have probably said this before but that china cabinet is looking very full now!! 😍😍 Thoroughly enjoyed your excellent haul of goodies and such reasonable prices. Thankyou.

おはようございます☀ とてもステキなお品がたくさん‼️❤️楽しませていただきました。とくにお皿。どちらも美しく、かつお値打ちで。年代を重ねたものも新しいお品も大切にする気持ちは変わらないのですが、アンティークやビンテージものは私のところでこの子たちの歴史を途絶えさせてはいけないと使う時にとっても緊張してしまいます。😅笑笑。

はじめまして。今年からブロカント沼にはまってしまい、こちらを拝見して色々勉強させていただいてます。我が家は主人が全く興味なく…。自分でまわれる範囲なら自力で頑張っていますが、車をだしてもらう場合あの手この手でご機嫌をとって一苦労です。ご主人もブロカントを楽しんでいられるようで羨ましいです。
