@@dellchica2373 Hi Dell, we say we 'own a cat' , but in reality, they manage to get into our hearts and own us. Sometimes it takes time for people to gain their trust, but once you do, you'll be their family. If they go outside, then come inside and look up at you with loving blinky eyes as they drop a dead rodent at your feet, they are expressing concern about your hunting capabilities and are trying to teach you how to hunt. And those little bites to your hands or ankles, are just 'love bites' . Each one has their own quirky personalities, of course. But they provide love and companionship in the most blessed ways. If you ever decide to let yourself be the recipient of a cat's affection, you can count yourself as one of the blessed chosen ones. And more than one is even better! I have been blessed with three!😻🐈🐺

I agree about the wonderful effect of cats. I get similar benefits from dogs and horses too, and I wouldn't want to be without them either. They are all especially loving after being rescued, of course. :)

LOL They deign to live with us, and if we turn out to be proper caretakers, and worship them as our ancestors did, (LOL pets, scratches, head bonks, food, water and clean litter) the love and joy they give in return is immeasurable. There is nothing better, to me, anyway, than drifting off to sleep with a kitty purring in my ear....and another across my ankles, one on my stomach, one at my side....I cohabit with 9, sometimes it gets a bit crowded! Technically, five are 'mine', three of them are rescues. The other four are rescues, also. It seems once you see one cat in need, that's all you see, and if you're like us, you can't walk on by, you have to help. I also have food and water on the porch for whomever needs a bite. So far, that has included; skunks, possums, raccoons and neighbors' dogs, as well as kitties. During the summer, some of the birds prefer the kitty kibble. LOL ✌💖😺😺

My Rennie was found by my daughter who was out jogging one morn, tossed in the woods, left to die. She was just like that, not 4 wks old, malnourished, eye infection, scrawny. We nursed her back to health and she just celebrated her 3rd birthday with us. She is the light of my life.

There was a touch of Siamese in one of our last rescues, although she was ginger tabby & white in looks. She had a Siamese build and was very vocal - extremely clever too. She lived 16 years and I still miss her.

I found a kitty that was half siamese his name was Butchie he turned out to be the best cat i ever had he was my best friend in the world. Sadly he passed away 2 yrs ago. Every day tell your kitty you love her they are sweet animals

How could anyone look at Sugarbug and not just fall in love with her? It is amazing how these little creatures can flourish given just a little love and TLC. I live with eight, two adopted from our local high kill facility and six street rescues. I never get tired of watching their antics.

During recovery, when a sick cat starts to groom itself, that is HUGE. It means...they're on the way to getting better.

I always watch for that. Sometimes it's the first way to see a kitty in distress. But when they start cleaning themselves again that is the greatest.

Thank you for your heart of GOLD. Sugarbug looks just like my kitty, Oddfellow. He was just as bad as Sugarbug was. He is doing wonderful and is my kitty forever. Little Sugarbug is so precious...hoping you keep her. You are such a kind and loving person. Your Golden wings will be waiting for you. Watched and saw she has a new forever home...she is so beautiful!

She's the sweetest little bundle of fluff I've ever seen!

Thank you for taking such good care of this poor kitten. Everyone deserves a chance. We should not hesitate to step in and help any living being in need.

Great video... a month ago my wife was. going to the grocery store and happened to notice a ver6 small little kitten on the sidewalk next to a busy road. She turned around and went back to see what it was. She noticed it was so tiny and looked very gaunt. The weather was near 100 degrees her in Florida that day. She coerced it from a fence and bushes. The little guy was nowhere near a house. She brought him home. We started to figure first step in getting him stable. He had scabs and missing fur. We got him to the vet on Monday since it was late Friday and the vet had already gone home. The vet guessed that he was just four weeks old. With all the hazards here, coyotes, foxes, gators, hawks, owls... we could not believe he survived the several,days he must have been out in the elements. He weighed 1.5 pounds, skin and bones. He is now nine weeks old and just weighs 4 pounds. He is an amazing little guy...has developed a hole series of favorites. He spends every morning with my wife as she starts her day in her home office until it is time for breakfast. He has made his home here and is just a joy to have... We named him Jasper....

I love ANYONE who has the heart to take care of any living creature that can’t take care of themselves weather animals and human beings. I’m so glad that the person in the video took care of this kitten. You mean a lot to her, and a lot of people don’t realize how much we mean to our animals.

Nothing like this life saving example towards animals, and yet, we kill our unborn babies without impunity. Animal cruelty can send you to prison, killing unborn children does not.

Totally agree! Sugarbug is a perfect example of how quickly they respond to a bit of love and care from a nurturing human. God Bless people like Susie who rescue these little balls of love.

Oh my God, I love you for this. I'm 52, male, 300 pounds, 6 feet tall, and this made me tear up. So happy to see her with a friend at the end!!

You’re wonderful. 😻 I’ve found that a soft bristle toothbrush mimics the grooming sensation of a mom cat.( especially after bath time) Our Misu & Tiblo were 24 hours old when found. They’re now 15 years old & healthy, happy, spoiled kitties,& we wouldn’t have it any other way.

She is beautiful. From an Aussie Prison Officer who loves cats.

I hope all will fine with this kitten. I took at home a stray sweet cat boy with the same eye issue in June, treated him for 3 weeks, but I had to euthanize him because he suffered of koronavirus. It was very hard decision, but I've done everything what I can for him. He took a piece of my heart.

Me too, here in Cape Town, South Africa. I worship cats. They are perfect in every way and every part of them. How wise were the ancient Egyptians! And how incredibly awesome are the people of Turkey. They have a city of cats- Istanbul. All love cats there. If only I could live there. Beautiful people and beautiful souls!

Awesome story. I just recently got my cat from pets mart . They saved her because she was going to be put to sleep on Xmas eve . She was very mean in the cage she was I but when I got her home she has been a sweet heart. I think she didn’t like to be in a cage. Now she’s awesome .

J Miranda I went to a pet store once for cat food and came home with a hamster they called Mr. Bitey because he bit everyone, so nobody wanted him. Never bit me. I even trimmed his teeth myself. Turns out, he just didn't like living there with too many people handling him. He used to cuddle up beside me on the couch with me and my husband when we watched tv. Even the cat let him snuggle in his fur. Nice little guy.

What a dear little girl, and such a fighter! Long life, health and happiness to you Sugar bug!

I have 3 foster kittens in Spokane, WA. They will be neutered and spayed the 27th if you know anyone out there looking for an adorable kitten. One is a tortoise shell calico and two are black/black and white. Live em all but have two 5 year old cats already. Maybe I’ll have five? Lol

@@diannaleigh9914 we have 12 who we rescued originally 15 but our seniors died after long lives. we could never part with them as they are our indoor family now and besides that cats can easily get separation anxiety.

Sugarplum you too are the most adorable critter ever!!!!! Love these creatures!!! Seeing them recover makes me so happy for them and the people who take time to help them survive!!! Humans need to do the same to other humans instead of hurting them love and care for one another!!!

If it wasn't so long I'd write out the cat's prayer to Bastet (Queen of cats)...it is a beautiful poem and can be found on line...so beautiful I'm thinking of including it in the coffin I'm building for Sweety, my constant companion for nearly 14 years...

She is so stinking cute! What a beautiful cat she will grow up to be! It's no wonder she got a forever home so quickly! Great job y'all do!

These early scenes broke my heart and I immediately started crying!! Her eyes are so much brighter after 3 days and such a beautiful shade of blue! May the Divine who created all of us, bless YOU for feeding, spending time with, playing with, just fostering this beautiful living creature, this wonderful Kitty Cat. What an incredible transformation! Sugarbug's resilience is impressive but it's the intensive care, treatment and love she received that 'sealed the deal' and helped her to survive. To see her going from strength to strength was astonishing and I love how she played relentlessly with her little silver crinkly bow thingy, chasing it and pouncing on it! She loved that!!

I "inherited" a tiny malnourished 8 week old kitten like this little beauty back in 2015. Maggie was suffering from a virus and had a nasty eye infection affecting both eyes. I researched the web about how to treat her and came across something called L-Lysine which I successfully used together with mild tepid saline solution eye drops and her virus cleared up enabling her to be vaccinated. Maggie is now a thriving five year old. I live in her house!😸💖

What a sweet little spirit... thank you for loving❤ her back to health!!

I never turn an abandoned kitten away. If I find one, my home is his or her home.

@Sue Taft my wife just rescued a kitten that a lady was going to take to the pound. I'm glad she brought it home. The kitten was very sad emotionally, but now she's playful and loves to cuddle with me and my wife.

This little is beyond adorable!!! That face! Those eyes! the the loud and strong vocal cords amazing!!! Amber is going to be alright as long as she has lots of love and playmates and of course a forever home yay!!!!!!
