Ramming wooden piles into muddy subsoil is not new. It stabilized the soil especially where ground water or soft clay is an issue. Being deep helps prevent rot. Venice was built like that and they have massive stone buildings resting on buried wooden piles for centuries. However as others have pointed out bamboo has hollow cavities and that might pose an issue. Bamboo is also quite durable with a high silica content so maybe it's fine.

@G This. There was no good reason to use such small bricks when building a big wall. Bigger concrete blocks would have filled up the space faster and cheaper and would have provided more strength to the structure. The mortar is the weakest part of the wall and the first part to erode. The fact that they rely on it so much to keep the wall together rather than the solidness of their bricks is a potential disaster. It would have also been much easier to keep the wall straight and level instead of that wobbly mess they ended up with. If you wanted a brick facade you could have just built the outer layer with small bricks instead. Look at 14:00 where at the nearer corner a bunch of bricks have already fallen out. This is pretty much what will happen to the building over time.

@Night Coder the mason that I labored for would probably disagree with your analysis. The form they set up was bowing in multiple places, and I never saw them check level once. They didn't use lines while laying the brick, so everything is probably way out of wack. Not to mention, those brick were cored, which aren't as strong as regular brick. As Das Desu pointed out, they would have had way more stability with block, and it would have been faster and more cost effective. Hell, they could have just poured concrete walls all the way up instead of building what is probably an unsafe base.
@nightcoder5k
Жыл бұрын
@@The_Vincening I'm sure it's not perfect. Bowing or not, it's difficult to say for sure since they're using a wide-angle camera. You don't need to use a level if there's a line. Without hi-tech laser tools, they usually use a transparent rubber tubing filled with water to check the level of 2 points. The foundation walls will probably be plastered, so it'd be better if it's rough.

Giải pháp móng tốn kém, có thể tiết kiệm hơn mà vẫn đảm bảo khả năng chịu tải và làm việc của móng
I like those concrete trucks
Técnica muito interessante. Queria muito ver um engenheiro narrando/explicando cada etapa, para entendermos melhor essa técnica.😊

No engineer will narrate the construction because there are so many mistakes from the engineering point of view. Very Low strength of the house compared to money invested.

In what country is this job site located ? You must have a very high water table. - Good hard working Crew 👍

Very strong contruction
That’s awesome

Is this way you make foundation for clay on the ground ????
Chỉ có ở miền bắc Việt Nam mới làm thế này.
Is this for a high tower or just a house?
Can anybody tell me pls, what for bamboo is pressed into the clay???
I’d like to observe the structure a couple of years later to see if there are any cracks.
Good amazing
How strong do you want it to be ? ‘Yes’
how high is this 20 floors?
Wow, that is one solid foundation and solid walls for a future solid home. Homes here in the US are wooden sticks. The only solid part is the foundation.
That will be one durable quicky mart.
