I love my YGN swim cap. Yes it is tight, but that is why it is so water tight! I also have a conventional silicone swim cap designed for locs that I have to put two shower caps with wig grips underneat to keep my hair as dry. This one solitary cap does the same and is way more stylishness. My hair stayed dry while doing the front crawl and breast stroke but it did get damp at the back of my head when doing back stroke - which happened with the conventional silicone one too. And I could only do the wrap bit once too. I am a huge YGN fan - I have purchased several of their T-shirt turbans and wear them regularly.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the YGN swim cap! It's great to hear that it kept your hair dry during the front crawl and breast stroke. Your feedback will definitely be helpful for others considering purchasing it. It was just a little too tight for me though I know it should be tight I felt like maybe pick up was a little too small for my head. I didn't like the way that it looked though and I do like their head wraps I wouldn't be opposed to trying that out but I think in the water I'm just gonna let my locks do its thing and be free. 💜

My Sisterlocks are just past waist length and I have the older version. The one you have seems to be a slightly better design though. Yes I've had mine going on 3 years and I love it for the water. It is very well made and definitely tight but that's what I wanted to keep the water out in the pool. I did find that it was easier to put on if you put your hair up in a bun first and then put it on by pulling it down over the bun first. This way you make the adjustments over your hair before sealing it on your head. I consider my head big just because I have so much hair but I'm just so happy that this cap fits over my locs and keeps them dry.☺

When you were in the shower, I was thinking..."she didnt cover her ears so her hairs going to be wet" but it still turned out dry! Nice!

Yes! Thank you! I was so happy to get it! That tightness is no joke though! 🤣 I only wish it had bigger sizes.

Haven’t tried the swim cap yet, however, I do have the sleep cap, it’s the same concept,wrapping it twice. I found it to be tight I had to find something else to wear at night. Didn’t even think of not wrapping the band,just flipping it over my head & tucking it. Thank you for the tip.

So I got the swim turban today, after waiting 29 days for it. I recently had some tests in a hospital and they told me my head was smaller than average. Well, no one told that to the swim turban. Holy $&%*%(# that is TIGHT. I had the exact experience that you had - I was stunned at the pressure that immediately built as soon as I put it on. I tried to double it too - not happening - and then tried one twist. Then I took it off and said I don't need it now. It was uncomfortable and I would have been happy to pay a couple of more dollars for a bigger cap. There HAS to be a way to make the cap more comfortable while keeping the water out - maybe a half in would do it, I don't know but I am not looking forward to wearing this pressure band around my head for hours at a time. THAT I'll have to rethink. Great video - subscribed!

Not the man telling you "it doesn't hurt!" like on WHOSE scale. Smh. That just blew my lid smh. I am so sorry this happened. It's hard to trust when people are so reckless with how they handle and treat patients. I hope you switched docs and if not I hope you do in the future. You deserve better! Thank you for watching! I feel like it supposed to be tight to keep the water out but I definitely feel like sizes would help alot for comfort so I agree with you . 💜

Looking for a swim cap to wear during summertime that's NOT silicone in the inside. I attend acqua exercise classes in outside pools. My hair is natural...at times I wear silk press. My head/hair sweats with silicone. Any suggestion pls?

im stressed because they only have one size and my heads bigger than yours :/ . Also how tight is it between your ear and neck? this does not look like it accommodates every head. im so stressed and most of the reviews on tiktok are made by their own people. i need an xl

I just got my cap today, I have a small cranium and got the 24”-GIRL, it is so tight on my lil scull! I hope it’ll stretch some the more I use it. I got one for my daughter too, she’s got a bit head, I might just return hers since she hasn’t tried it on yet

I am also going to use a thin silk cap under if I can, the rubber cap lays on your hair and pulls quit a bit

My goodness, that's crazy, I thought it was just me but her head im sure is small so it definitely is tight . Tension gives me headaches too so I have to be careful
