coming from a semi-desert area (up to 450mm annual rainfall) where it has never been known to snow; I find these clips fascinating !

Holy cow I did not realize some of the payloader mounted blowers were so BIG, that one is blowing the snow at least 100 ft up to get over the snow cliff he is by, that is amazing the blower must have and engine of at least 500 hp or more, it takes a hell of an engine to push snow like this!!! Pretty amazing!

I used to do snow removal at two local airports. The big Oshkosh was a beast, until it got stuck off one of the runways. Took two other beasts to pull it out. It shouldn't have been taken off the pavement but it was the boss. He knew better! We had smaller, lighter blowers for the other side of the lights.

Live in Montana for 60 years. some of this equipment blows my mind. :-).

I'm really jealous of whatever city has those cool brushes. Not so jealous of that funny orange shovel contraption though.

That mountain snow makes the upstate New York blizzard look like snow flurries.

Those big walls off snow was in Northern Japan where they get about 300 inches annually!!!

i have one that I mount to my lawn tractor for winters...I'm guessing I get more use out of it in the winter blowing snow than mowing grass in the summer months...lol.

@@olekdah They are pretty popular in the old Soviet states. Nicknamed something akin to "Golden Hands" 😀 The advantage to this, over a snow blower, is that chunks of ice doesn't face or damage it, and it uses much less fuel. Also, since it doesn't have high speed moving parts, it wears out relatively slowly, as long as you remember to grease it. Reliable and durable, is the name of the game.

Wish these kind machines were in Michigan

If stronger knives were installed, this machine could be used to dig canals for irrigation or drainage. And military trenches could also be dug.

Liked that machine at 7:15! You don't have to load up the snow, or have a place to place it. You blow it back to where it came from!!!😂😂😂

Remind me of the movie probably Bond movie where somebody got mixed up with the snow blower and made a big red spot. I'm often wonder how they got that red spot in the snow. I did not notice at the end of the movie where he said no animals are harmed..

I saw this or very symilar, a bit bigger machine in action in Belarusian capitol Minsk. Very good patent. To plow snow into the middle of the street. Then to remowe it this way and drive away.. But at one condition - The street must be wide
