People nowadays have confused good CGI with good cinematography and that’s so sad when you see this amazing work of art.

@@mortalitykombat6485 if you said the guardians of the galaxy competes with the dark knight trilogy as the best superhero trilogy of all time it will be more suitable than the one you've mentioned (and i said competes not overthrow tdk trilogy, and that comes from a marvel fan), and if you meant the tom holland trilogy than you're delusional, except for no way home the first two not even on the list to compete with nolan's masterpiece, and the dark knight is the best superhero movie of all time, i never realized it until recently aftezr rewatching it, it just showed me how pale and superficiel infinity war and endgame were as superhero movies (again that comes from a diehard marvel fan, nolan's trilogy is the only thing that i prefer from the dc world even though it's not officially in dc universe).

Wally Pfister is an absolute legend.
God I miss this trilogy! But I’m happy it ended when it did. It only makes them so much more special. Everything about these films are top notch. The direction The writing The acting The cinematography The actors/ characters. The action scenes and more. Thank you Christopher Nolan and Legendary Pictures for producing such a trilogy.
I remember being in the theatre and hearing literal gasps from everyone around me at 6:32

Loved how your arranged the score for this video. Started with "Why Do We Fall" then cut it at the crescendo and moved on to a different piece of music, then came back around to the crescendo for the final seconds! Brilliant, IMO! Great video!

I do that every year I marathon this trilogy on my birthday for nearly a decade now.
Some brief feedback: you should have built the video up throughout in the form of a crescendo instead of blasting the (repetitive-almost sounded looped) music and explosive visuals spontaneously throughout; you should tried to tell some sort of story with continuity (e.g., avoided showing Bane wreaking havoc before showing his reveal on the plane); and either used only IMAX footage, only used widescreen footage, or used both but not mixed them together (i.e., once the footage switches to either format, it stays that way for the rest of the video).

Even though I hate the action in some of the movies (except the 1st fight with Bane and fights from the 1st movie). I still really like the cinematography of these movies, it looks awesome. Especially when Batman is standing at the rubble of the building where Rachel dies.

In my opinion The Dark Knight Trilogy vs MCU: The Dark Knight > The Winter Soldier and Infinity War > Batman Begins > Iron-Man and Civil War > The Dark Knight Rises > the rest of the MCU movies.
Who else thinks that the Dark Knight Rises is one of the most underrated movies of all time

The whole video is incredible, but there is something about 0:44 to 1:30 that feels different. Chills.
