Beautiful piece. I so appreciate your teachings. I’d like to know why you don’t heat the feet along with the bowl piece, even though you’re no fastening it together? Again, your uses of mix mediums really makes your pieces uniquely beautiful. I find myself drawn to pieces like this, more than jewelry; Not that those pieces aren’t wonderful to make/see. I’m definitely going to try this out…

Thank you. I attack the feet while they're raw because it adhere to the bowl better and I find it easier to get a nice, level finish. If they were cured that would be a lot harder. :D
Hi Samantha l Absolutely Love Your Channel l was just wondering do you sell those large cutters please 💕💕
@JessamaTutorials
Жыл бұрын
Yes. I sell many different large cutters. Here's the ones I used in this tutorial: www.etsy.com/au/listing/702200906 And some others: www.etsy.com/au/shop/JessamaDesign?ref=seller-platform-mcnav§ion_id=24135325
Hello. I do not speak englisch very well. Your work is very nice :-) but why use some isopropyl alcohol (70 % or 100% ?) ? Thank you for your reply 🙂 For future tutorials, I would like to have subtitles in French please. Thanks
The main difference I notice between Premo translucent and Premo white translucent is that the white translucent has optical brighteners that fluoresce under UV light. Regular translucent doesn't. You can tell the difference when you take the piece out in the sunshine, the UV in sunshine will make the brighteners pop a bit. Under the UV resin curing light, the different really stands out.

I just ordered some translucent premo, and then sent white premo w/special effects. I do believe this isn’t a translucent clay; any idea?
C'est très joli 👍👏 pourriez vous mettre un sous titrage en français ? Car je ne comprends pas bien l'anglais 🥴🥴 Merci beaucoup 😉
Very nice. You put on the oven with the molde? Thank you

Very nice! How long do you allow the wax to dry?
@JessamaTutorials
Жыл бұрын
After buffing, I leave it for about 24 hours.
Gorgeous! I'm curious, though - why blue and not green for a faux emerald bowl? Could/should green and blue be mixed?
@JessamaTutorials
Жыл бұрын
The alcohol inks change color after baking when mixed with the clay. A blue ink will turn quite green after baking. A green is will look almost like a muddy yellow. :D

@@JessamaTutorials Thank you!!!
Samantha, when you added the inks did you say you could use kitchen food color as well? Or did I misunderstand?
@JessamaTutorials
Жыл бұрын
No, I have only used alcohol inks, but now that you've said it, I wonder it that would work. I'll have to try it at some point.

Hello Jessama How big is the cutter you are using? If I wanted to make a round plate, what diameter would you recommend?
@JessamaTutorials
Жыл бұрын
I used a 9.5cm by 9.5cm cutter. In regards to the plates diameter, it would depend on it's intended use?

I'd recommend 8.5cm to 9.5cm rounds.
