I did different seasons, I cook on gas so 3-4 minutes in skillet per side. I am a 60 year old southern and this was the best pork chop I have ever eaten.
Absolutely Delicious! Thank you! On a scale from 1-10 my husband gave me a 10!

Excellent thank you.. my hubby brought home thick chops I've never bought thick cuts, so this is perfect🙂😉💓
These look fantastic. I do like mine a little rarer, but I was looking for an alternative to breading and pan frying, and I’m pretty sure this is it. Thanks for the video 💜💜💜

Brandon they were cooked to perfection !!
So yummmmm yummmmm yumy 😋
I cooked these last night and they were delicious! They looked exactly like the ones in your video. I used 3 boneless thick chops. My seasoning was Morton's Natures Seasoning and fresh ground black pepper. I followed your technique exactly. I put them in the 350 oven and set the timer for 15 minutes, checked the temperature and they were way past 145 but were delicious anyway. Thanks for sharing this recipe and I will be using it again.

I think a better way is to pan sear the chops on both sides. Get a nice crust on them over the coarse of about 4 min on each side, then cut the heat to low and add a 1/4 cup of hot tap water to the pan/chops and cover. Simmer that side 4 min and then flip for 4 min. Rest 2 or 3 min then pig out!
Perfect chops. I just did salt, pepper and paprika.
Where are my pork chops? The chops look delicious.😋

Mine turned out awesome. I do think I could’ve likely cooked them for 15 minutes as opposed to 20 minutes in the oven on 350° though. My cut was about the same as yours and I ever so slightly overcooked mine. Still great flavor.

Awe man, sorry that happened, but I'm glad they were still great
Made these today. Used boneless chops, cast iron skillet, 15 mins in the oven. Should have cooked 8-10 mins using cast iron. But the taste is delicious. Love this recipe.

For thinner pork chops is it less time ? I do not have a meat thermometer

Definitely. To be honest depending on thickness you may not need to put in the oven
Thin. Shake & Bake. Done.
Oh I see I don't have 1 of those...🤔

You Can find a digital thermometer ery cheap at Walmart
I do I know it's 145 degrees?
I would not be using stove top & oven. Being thick, I would sear after they are done.

how did my gramma cook without a thermometer? all cooks now a days need one?
I like the stove top first and then oven method also. My pork chops have turned out much more even cooked doing it this way. Most important thing I've found is to temp it a few minutes before you expect to be near done to make sure it doesn't dry out. I usually let the pork chop rest out of the oven by itself on a new plate but after watching this video, it does makes way more sense to leave it out of the oven still basting in it's own juices for a few minutes before cutting it open.
Overcooked. Take out at 130-135 and let rest.

Lol that's your preference not law. But thanks for the comment. Oh and it was certainly not overcooked
Why didn't you use flour?

I didn't want to bread them
Why put the pan in the oven? Woudlnt that be bad for the handle or pan itself?

No it's a stainless pan
hate these cooking shows that use spice mixes where they do not tell you what's in them, you need to buy the mix to find out, reminds me to much of Obamacare, when Nancy Pelosi said, "you need to vote 'yes' on it to find out what is in the bill" bullshit, not taking that crap anymore. ... still gave the video a thumbs up 👍 b/c everyone needs to be aloud to make their living.
They look too dry and hard to chew.
