This five day event is a collaboration between the Halden, Norway's 'Crusin Club (Amcar), and Bilsport magazine, Sweden. The yearly border crossing (Grensetreff) between Norway and Sweden has been going on for decades, but this year is exceptional. The event starts each year with a central gathering on Wednesday evening to select "Miss Fuzzy Dice" at the Tista center. There is a city wide "Rebus Fun Run" cruise on Thursday evening. Friday nights "Queen of Hearts" cruise is an unbelievable dress up event with a Queen selected from the entries. Saturday's individual club gatherings happen all around Halden during the day, then another cruise in the evening. The Fantastic Bilsport sponsored show and awards end the week with that happening up at the historic Festning (fortress) grounds. Ten cars compete for the best of the best awards. The big winner this year was a stunning 1961 Chrysler Imperial "Lebaron" hardtop. The huge event is also supported by Amcar (American Car Club, Norway) and is covered in both Bilsport and Amcar magazines. The event may have exceeded 500 American cars at times.
