I feel like Nodevember got little to no coverage on KZread. As someone who hasn't even scratched the surface of procedural material making I feel blown away by all the stuff that I've seen on Twitter and I would love to learn more in-depth techniques, but sadly there are little to no resources out there (at least that's how I feel like). Thank you for sharing this!

Oh my god... I am new to Blender and saw all those Nodevember uploads on Reddit last year. I wasn't really blown away, because I have missed the point. I thought, those were modeled! For the snowman for example, I would think that ONLY the snow texture is what is made only with nodes and that they want to basically show off their snow texture. I did not know that EVERYTHING was done with nodes. Holy shit!

Now we need an A.I. to setup all of these processes and bake it down into something comprehensive for us mortals. The wow factor is like over the top, but like any shiney new toy, if it's too complicated, we as humans get frustrated and distracted. Especially when these tools require so much computational horsepower to generate textures. Perhaps next generation video cards will have many of these feature sets built in and accessible through API calls. That will really push things over the edge. 😊
