Hi guys we were there a few days before you (on Quantum) and can confirm the air strip is used. We actually saw a plane take off through the trees while snorkelling. Found, after we got there, that the huts needed to be prebooked on that trip though. Seems your previous video has made them quite popular 👍

We tried to book one for our next visit there in February but all the afternoon ones were booked out. There were some morning ones left but they started at 9am and taking into account that we are not the earliest of risers and that we need to get tender tickets it is highly likely that we would arrive on the island after our time had finished. So, we didn't bother for that trip. We will need to find something new to do there though.

@robandalicruisetravel Hopefully they can invest in a few more. Still worth the visit though even if just for the easy snorkelling. Fo you pay in advance for the booking when you are there? Great idea on the Cruise Fit videos too.

Im soooo looking forward to going to mystery Island ❤❤ we have 4 port stops of our carnival splendor cruise next April 2025, it's a 9 night cruise ❤ and they changed one of our stops as the area wasn't taking cruise ships and added in mystery Island, im totally stoked ❤ after watching your videos on here, here and noumea are the 2 ports im most wanting to visit on that cruise. :) we was originally to noumea, Port villa, lifou and mare. Can't remember if it's port Vila or lifou that they changed. Im just praying that the weather will be nice as i think all of the ports are tender ports bar noumea
