This journey is a must do for any railway enthusiast, I am really surprised that there isn't a buffet car on this 11 hour train and I think the stations could use a brush up or refurbishment but the scenery in Montenegro is spectacular, what a lovely country to visit

Would be amazing if Serbia and Montenegro started a reconstruction and modernization project of this line.. meaning overhaul it completely and buy new trains for it.. maybe few nice "etno village" stops along the way.. would be an amazing tourist attraction.

Visit the national parks in Montenegro -Durmitor, in Bosnia - Sutjeska Zelengora, in Serbia - Tara mount. Near the borders of Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro, nature is the most beautiful in Europe. There are also the Drina, Tara, and Piva rivers, which are beautiful. I suggest rafting on the Tara River in the month of May, and on that occasion you should set aside 15 days to visit the national parks of this part of the world.
