Hi! Somebody from the mermaiding community here: the silicone that tail that they make in the video is very cute, but if you make the tail like they do in the video/without a proper monofin, please please PLEASE do not swim in it! You will drown, and it will not be fun lol.

No please don't. This is not a safe mermaid tail. The construction is all wrong. You can make your own but please at the very least buy a proper monofin. Safety first! They cost so much for a reason.

polymer clay must be baked .... look it up. I am asuming it is "raw" even if you did bake it the doll will melt
Ok, looks good, but why go to all the trouble and detail of the exposed brain, then you positioned the creature so it can't be seen. Also, why is there caution tape around a block of water. Doesn't appear realistic.

Not this one. This one is not a swimmable tail. The "monofin" they made is completely unsafe. You would drown.

Please don’t try the mermaid tail one. It isn’t safe to swim in. You can buy a safe one or make your own using a much safer tutorial.
