What a powerful story and testimony! This story spoke to me too. I haven't been the most active but have never denied the truth and goodness of our Church and Heavenly Father. Watching this made me realize that if a person who has never been a member of our church nor received any prior teachings can feel the spirit and understand its truth to be able to change his life why can't I? Thank you for this! #Encouragement #Faith #Testimony

When he said that Christian asked how do you know where we go after this life? I just felt this overwhelming spirit and I just started crying for no reason that’s so amazing

How beautiful! Almost made me cry, my brother was in the room so I didn't. This story kinda reminds me of my conversion story, I had no future or too intersected in church at the time since I am 14 and all, cussed all the time. I told myself I would join church later when I was older. But 2 months before I joined the church I started to cuss less and try to set an example to others to do the same but I still didn't take action but did pray more often, I think God saw that I was more mature and I was finally ready to hear His word, and at first I was kinda skeptical about it since I never heard of this religion, but I was invited to a baptism... and that really changed it for me and I knew that this is what I wanted to be a part of, it took me . It has been 5 months since I've been a member and I couldn't be more happier, I've gotten true friend out of it and I am so blessed for the first time I've met my missionaries at my friends house during dinner with them! It took me a few weeks to know the truth, my sister and I actually asked to be baptized and a month later we were.

Great story! The Lord leads us to those who he wants to be in his Church. It's up to the missionaries to be in tune and to find them.

Such experiences require people to soften their hearts and listen to the Spirit of Christ. Those who hear the 'still, small voice of God' will come and follow Jesus Christ and listen to his messengers. Our sins will be made as white as snow. Invite everyone to listen to the missionaries. The rewards are beyond this world's challenges.

Wow. What a powerful story and testimony. Not a bad way to spend 11 minutes and 37 seconds on a sleepless early Sunday morning. (I've got church in less than 6 hours ... I suppose I should go see if I can get some sleep ... Heh!) Thanks for sharing. Warm Regards and Best Wishes from a Brother in Christ, -Ken K. Gourdin P.S.: KZread is so funny: Mixed in with things like this in my feed, I've got things like, "Why I left the Mormon Church" ... Too funny! You made me cry Elder :'( I've been out of church for a long time even though I know its true, so long it hurts. There isn't a single day that goes by that I don't think about Jesus Christ, the atonement, the church, the members. But there's something that isn't letting me go

***** I feel I have done some pretty awful things, I felt the same way as you describe you feel, for a very long time. I decided one day it was my choice and up to me, that I go to church and ask Heavenly Father for forgiveness, and it was up to Him to forgive me or not. He has. According to our faith the blessings come. Do not let the adversary keep you. Remember that you are stronger than he is, You HAVE A BODY, you have the power to get on your knees and plead with Heavenly Father and feel your Saviors love. Shake off those chains, you are loved and Jesus Christ lives and knows who you are.

All of our doings in the LDS church depends heavily upon the workings of the Holy Ghost. Either you're just watching it or witnessing it personally, when the Holy Ghost touches your heart, you will know it is true, such as this one... only the Holy Ghost can change a man's heart. I am glad I accepted the missionaries into my home 34 years ago.

Jesus Christ left His authority to the Church [Matt 16:18 / Matt 18:18], and there's only one Church that can lay claim to that authority: the Catholic Church. They've existed for 2,000 years, can prove they descend from Jesus, have never (even once) changed doctrine or dogma, and will always maintain that authority in succession. There are wonderful, spiritual, and amazing Mormons, though -- without question :)
