Once in a while I worry that craftsmanship like this is going to get lost in time. Anything made from solid wood these days costs a king's ransom ... not to mention something hand-made and clever!

I feel the same way. Just look at our architecture. For the most part, America hasn't built any beautiful buildings since wwII

I like the concept, try hidden barrel hinges next time. I’m glad you have all your fingers after seeing how you use the table saw and jointer. Not a great example of proper use and safety…
