It is good to see a craftsman at work. He keeps his machines clean and tidy, he works in a safe and professional manner. Well done sir you are a refreshing change from some of the channels who have no regard to working safely.

Very very bien! Thanks!
Very well presented, and very well executed, and no half hour listening to how your garden has been decimated by the snow, or how your wife has just asked how you would like your potatoes cooked... You make very good sense to me by the way you construct your items.. Thank you, i will be making one of these adjustable end stops very soon..

Good
Suggestion.....to make that cut without having to move the fence, use multiple shims the width of the blade to place between the fence and the board.
Good idea, thank you
After watching several of your videos, I like that you pilot drill your holes. It's a mistake I see pros make all the time by skipping a pilot drill. It really makes a difference. The one thing I would do differently with this nice of a fence would have been to used only screws to fasten the runners to the fence and used William Ng's 5-cut method to have aligned it for perfect 90 Degree cuts. This slide is far too nice to be frustrated with out-of-square cuts for the rest of it's life by being permanently fixed to the rails!

Inlay a ruler across the top, to help set your cut length. Or two, going out in both directions from the blade edge.

Well, I have no idea why this was suggested by YT, but I watched the whole thing and nice work. However, I have no idea what it is and what its for. Might have been nice to put something in the title so I'd know what I'm learning about.

Where does the thumbnail fit into this? Deception!
3:32 good instructions for how to lose your fingers. If this method seems too safe try method 2 3:40 Maybe you should build a jig for cutting small pieces like this safely?....in such a way that you will still have your fingers to use the jig?

I too cringed watching that unnecessary risky procedure. On top of that, you never want to run stock trapped between the blade and a stop-- all kinds of kickback possibilities.
If he had screwed a steel ruler along the top he would be able to use it to measure what he wanted to cut

Na hornú pozdĺžnu lištu by bolo dobré do predom vyfrézovanej drážky nalepiť pásmo zo zvinovacieho metra. Dal by sa pekne nastaviť požadovaný rozmer.
TRES ASTUCIEUX Je vais essayer de me fabriquer le même.
Good idea if one doesn't have a chop-saw.........
Ok....I see a circular blade attached to a piece of wood with the caption, " Amazing how it works! And you build a cross cut jig with a stop. Ummmmi missed something didnt I.

I agree. Expected to see the tool in the picture. Wasted time.
Y lo de la miniatura???
Why don't these DIY vids ever explain what is being constructed in the title?
Bad idea to capture the cut-off between the saw blade and the stop. If the cut-off twists the smallest amount when the jig is pulled out that piece is going somewhere (you don't know where) very fast. If you cut pieces like that, you must remove the capture device (the stop) so cut-off is not trapped. Use another piece on the stop that can be removed while cutting, then put it back when stopping the next length. Or, get a stop that swings up when cutting and swings back down to stop the next length. I hope none of you 18K subscribers hurt themselves with your device.

screw the saw (plate) to a piece of plywwood and turn it upside down...screw the plywood to wooden saw horses for legs...install guide board/strip of metal at desired position.

I think I would have made a bed under it to keep my fingers from the blade
L in dak o o is een gemeente
Where’s the calculator?
Most saws come with a sliding right angle fence for cross cut that can be adjusted for angles also. So if you want to do multiple cuts use the fixed fence with a small piece of plywood attached before the blade . Save yourself a wasting valuable workshop time !! Ridiculous Idea
And yet another contribution to the Darwin Award short-list.
Or 2 passes at most with a router
Sub’d & Bell’d
You will have ton s of kicks in your workshop. Do you need or use them? Maybe, once or twice in your lifetime.
чего он судит? у него замечателни инструмент,а он ...?!
I get annoyed the more I see people using a table saw to cut in a dado cut without using a dado stack. If you don't have a dado stack Use a router. Either dado stack or router means you don't have hammer the crap out and the attempt to smooth it out with a chisel. And the people who say a router is too much set up time, how much time do spend knocking the chips out of the dado and the chiseling the crap out of the dado?
You should never have your left hand over the blade the way you did. Many years ago, I did that, the blade jammed on the wood, sent the wood flying, and my hand came down on the blade. Really bad role model.
I'm sorry ,there's no other way to say this KEEP YOUR SODDING HANDS AWAY FROM THE BLADE!!! FAR AWAY

no goes!: 1. title without the name of what you do ist a clickbait! 2. fingers close to the blade is dangerous! 3. end product no stop, the blade can come through at the front. the block doesn´t protect. no like, no subs just thumbs down!
