Amazing Historic Tryavna, Bulgaria: Bulgarian Road Trip Series Part 3
Tryavna is a quaint little village with churches, bell towers, and old bridges. It was nice to see a Bulgarian small town and feel the different pace of life and marvel at how well the city has preserved the old ways of life.
We probably would have never gone to Tryavna had we not rented a car. Seeing more of this beautiful country has been worth the Thunderdome experience that is driving in Bulgaria.
This is part 3 of our Bulgarian Road Trip Series. Check out the rest!

Thank you!! It was cool to visit some smaller towns that we couldn't have gone to without the car. We had a great time on the trip! :)
5:55 That's a stork nest - you can see them often in the countryside, on top of tall structures - poles, chimneys, etc. Storks nest in pairs, but they are migratory birds and spend only the warm months in Bulgaria. So the owners of the nest are somewhere in Africa right now. :)

@@Twocantravel yes, they become enormous. The pairs normally come back to the same nest year after year and after a while the nest becomes a part of the village architecture 😁

How fun! We didn't realize there was a train to go between the two cities. Enjoy your trip!
Hello guys . This is my city Veliko Tarnovo. Stevo is your name from ex Yugoslavia?
Driving in Bulgaria is hell and the main reason is corruption and very bad attetude. I have a friend who is instructor and he left the country becouse he was harrased by authorities for not letting students easly pass. Lots of people simply buy their licenses or get it just becouse their father knows someone others don't even have one etc.

Well that explains a lot! Driving in Bulgaria is definitely not for the faint of heart.

Seriously? The authorities harassed him? Like which authorities exactly? 🤔 The ones, which imposed camera recordings of all drivers license exams?

@@huskytail т.н. ДАИ, и няма да изпадам в подробности, всички знаем колко е корумпирана българската администрация на кое да е ниво
