Amazing Find! | Siebe Gorman Diving Helmet | Salvage Hunters

Фильм және анимация

Ace salvager Drew Pritchard is always on the lookout for stock for his show room. Today he heads to Trinity Marine in Devon, where a Siebe Gorman diving helmet catches his eye.
Drew Pritchard, the owner of one of the UK's largest decorative salvage yards, is always on the lookout for new items to replenish his stock, and he has no qualms about scouring the countryside for them. This series follows Drew as he searches for old and lost pieces of history throughout the world, including some opulent estates. But locating them is only half the battle; Drew must persuade the owner of each object to sell it to him for a good price, and then it's off to the scrap yard, where his team restores it to its former glory before selling it for profit.

This video was my absolute favorite. The Trinity Marine shop was so clean and organized. It had such wonderful items. Just loved Sir Wakefield's castle with all the stunning pieces. The bat weather vane was great. I wish we could have seen the puppet skeleton working. His name should be "Skinny". Take care from Michigan.

I kept looking around Sir Humphreys for that thing that be-heads people . I wish that they would go back and do a full castle tour only panning the rooms 100 times slower there is so much to see, and learn from him .

Always intriguing to me how people can have objects they deem to be their children, or grandmother, or in some other way precious to them, and have them shunted off to some godforsaken corner of their shed or storage area accessible only by ladder. Precious? Why not honor the objects as precious? If it's not good enough to care for or display, let the objects go out into the world and have someone enjoy and care for them.

If they truly loved the items , they would be displayed. Anyone with a castle certainly has room or as my mom used to say : BATS IN THE BELFRY ! I KEPT THINKING , HE GOT THE $ TO BUY THE CASTLE , BY SNOOKERING PEOPLE ALONG THE WAY . I wonder how much he paid for the hearse ?

I love how people put stuff in barns and sheds to be ruined and then when Drew wants to buy it they don't want to let it go. Just let it get ruined then.

My opinion of the castle owner is much the same as everyone else. He wanted big bucks for items condemned to the ravages of time and wasn't remotely interested in allowing someone else to restore and preserve these ancient relics. His mentality in wanting to keep this trash is indicative of impairment and convinced me that he was most definitely beyond salvaging.

Sir Humphrey was irritating. He spoke down and was very dismissive of Tee. Nice stuff but far too much clutter to actually give attention to a single item and he wouldn't sell you the dirt from under his fingernails.... rude old codger
