Hi I'm from the Fiji Islands. No Brother very few Indians are mixed up with the Native Fijian's here . Hardly any Fiji Indian women but Yes some Fiji Indian men did married the locals. One other thing not all Fiji people drink kava . Very few Indian Women drink Kava and Indian girls none. By the way Most Fiji Indian's can be found in Ba Area where I'm from . It's not a Tourist place but full of Agriculture. Here you will feel that you are in India. Please visit Ba which is just North of Nadi .

ITS A PACIFC LANGUAGE CALLED "FIJI BAAT". IT WAS ESTABLISHED DURING THE SLAVE ERA WHERE OUR ANCESTORS COMBINED THIER LANGUAGES TO MAKE NEW ONES IN ORDER TO COMMUNICATE ON FIJI'S PLANTATIONS.

One fun fact . Most Fiji Indian's did know many things about India than the Natives of India themselves . I mean we knew how many types of languages , state , History , people , Islands , mountains and countless more about India since way back when there was no television or internet ( 70s till onwards) I had an Indian friend who was from Punjab during the time when there was no internet but he didn't know about Mizoram or Andaman Islands but in Fiji we already knew that . Fiji Indian's love to Read newspapers , Books , learn about every country around World . All much before Internet or Social Media . That's why Fiji Indian's know many things . They are Smart 😊

good, when comparing a country compare an apple with an apple, you trying to compare the largest democratic country with a population of 1.4 billion with just 936K Fiji people, cmon, since when Fiji Indians started knowing every single aspects about Indias history, states, province, districts, languages, dialects, etc . stop writing negative comments. Indians are also very smartest people in the world , and are migrating fast to Australia as well, especially doctors, engineers, ITs, accountants, you just name it, so you cant base your opinion by meeting 1 guy from Punjab with a population of 30 million people...do not boast about Fiji, because I was born there & have migrated in mid 80s

Go to Singapore and Malaysia The tamils living there from many generations still speak Tamil and follow all their culture Biharis are no special people just normal people. Infact see the Bihar in India today, gobbling up resources of other states and still being the shitty underdeveloped state.

You are right,, prime example is Mauritius. some Mauritian whose forefathers migrated from India. But today they can’t speak any Indian language, even they hate to be called Indo Mauritian. But the irony is they are most nearby country to India.

@@Mr.GareebTrader Fiji Indian's are much different than those living in the Caribbean, Africa or Mauritius. Those Indians, majority are now mixed up with other groups but not Fiji Indians . Very few have married the local natives , mostly the Men but hardly any Indian women . Fiji Indian's only mix with each other , not majority only minor cases . Like some North Indian's marry with South Indian , Punjabi with North Indian etc .. So we are just like what is back in India. Majority of us can speak Proper Hindi but we prefer our own Fiji Hindi . Our Radio Stations are all in proper Hindi . We all love India , it's movies , Cricket Team etc.. and if given a chance like if they go in a War , we will definitely volunteer if the need arises . Jai Hind Jai Bharat 🙏

Yes there are Muslims in Fiji . Sunni , Ahmadhiya's, Gujerati Muslims, Malayalam Muslims etc... A few Shia Muslims as well . Majority came from from Uttar Pradesh. Apart from that majority Hindus with a minority Punjabis, Nepalese and Gujaratis. I'm a Punjabi and though we know our language but we all talk with each other in Fiji Hindi ✌️
