Excellent skills !
And to think that this has all been brought to you without a pair of safety glasses. But on a more serious note I'm reminded of a few lyrical words from the Jackson Browne song ''Farther On''... To those gentle ones my memory runs To the laughter we shared at the meals I filled their kitchens and living rooms With my schemes and my broken wheels It was never clear how far or near The gates to my citadel lay They were cutting from stone some dreams of their own But they listened to mine anyway album: "Late For The Sky" (1974)

That's how countries are built. Life is pampered nowadays. Back in the day like you used to be tough and this is just a slice of how things used to be done and still get done this way in some places around the world. Now Machinery is taking the place of what we used to have to do by hand. Hence why everybody is offended by every little thing and scared to work over 40 hours. At least in America anyway. A bunch of pampered little babies

I thought same thing. Bricks? Pavers? The rock is breaking where it naturally wants to break, so perhaps the pieces he's creating are stronger, and will then be separated for different uses?
Stones spend million years formed, but to be distroyed in seconds.

Wondered how gravel is made? -now you know.
I am not that good with a hammer. For every five hits on my hand I would get one hit on the chisel. I would quit that job after the first five minutes.
