We visited the Lasithi Plateau which is a high plateau, located in eastern Crete, Greece. On the plateau the locals work the field and raise animals in farms for their income. The windmills that appear in the images have been used in the past to irrigate the land, however, today more modern ways are used to do this and the windmills have been abandoned. We discovered the local villages as we pass true.
