Hey Josh, how are you doing. It seems like it found is somewhat on the noisy side but I guess with the tractor running it kind of drowns that out. May I suggest that when you hook the power up to these items do not go directly to the battery and find a circuit that is switched with the on and off switch on your tractor. That way you won’t leave it running all the time. Just a thought.

I have to say that, in my opinion, your high recommendation of a product that is double the price of their most expensive competitor, for what is essentially a single speed fan in difference, is changing my overall view of your channel. Your recommendation that a $1200 canopy with a built-in fan as an essential & worthwhile tool to purchase for every piece of compatible equipment a Homesteader owns is reason for me to second guess any equipment recommendations you make. Or, at the very least, shows a disconnect between what you propagate through your channel & what I look for from enthusiast content producers such as yourself. I seek creative & innovative solutions that will help me achieve my property development & management goals in fiscally responsible ways. This video shows me that, quite simply, I can't trust the tools you recommend as being an effective, efficient, & worthwhile investment for me as a consumer. Great concept. Too expensive for what it is. Not to mention the product website has significant room for improvement & is missing the information that customers are actually looking for - pricing & product access. Maybe this will get better as they are able to scale down the price (significantly) & with better innovations - like multiple speed settings, dash-mounted controls, & integration with ignition-based power availability. I'd also like to see a quick attach system for road travel removal or stowage. Anything to justify the high price. Right now it just feels like gouging.

If you can't afford one...just don't get one buddy...but price yourself a standard canopy at your local tractor dealership and you'll find the cool top is a great value. Not sure what else to say.......but keeping the sun and dust off ya and staying cool is pretty nice. If it's worth it to you...get one..if not...then don't but if you call kubota, deere or agco and order a canopy for your tractor it will be comparably priced...without a fan

  • @DrgnRebrn

@@StoneyRidgeFarmer that's not true. I did price shop before commenting. The most expensive aftermarket canopy I could find was $599. No fan, but the price difference doesn't justify that being what appears to be the only major difference. I also never said I "had" to get one, I stated my trust in you as an advocate to property owners looking for great advice on ways to work our property through tools, tips, shared experiences, etc had been alerted as a result of this video & your support & pushing of a product that is so expensive. I get the need to keep sun & dust off, & bugs away too! Recommending what is essentially a $600 canopy paired with a $600 fan mounted to it just seems like the wrong approach. Thanks for what you do, your time, your energy, & your passion. Your videos have helped me a lot. This one just left me scratching my head.

Purchased mine from Good Works Tractors / Rhinohide for $419 (of course no fan). I only see the fan as a benefit of you are stationary using the backhoe. Other than that, you’re moving creating a breeze. And don’t want field dust blowing down on me. It’s over priced for what it “provides”. The average farmer doesn’t have a company to come sponsor a video and install them at a discount or free or provide kickbacks for purchase made from the video links. This comment has validity to it. Majority of farmers and workers are looking for tools and accessories that benefit them without costing a fortune. Would prefer to see videos that help the homesteader and farmers save money and save on costs of goods. Be blessed

Plus it's been my experience when fiberglass is used it eventually cracks and starts dropping on you - especially when bolt holes are designed into it. Josh, you may want to do a little more research about products you recommend. There is no way to find a dealer list or MSRP for this product. Even the phone number on their web page is the plastic supplier, not this company. They do not post dealer list nor MSRP. Even the link you posted for this product under your name as an Amazon influencer doesn't show this product and an Amazon search doesn't find this product. This isn't the first item I purchased (or tried to purchase) from one of your videos. A while back you presented a automatic siphon system from a farm show. I ordered and set my money. It's been almost two months now (or maybe a month) and I still haven't received the product. I can't speak for others but I religiously follow your videos but in my experience you're getting unreliable for items you present. Please be more accurate and provide good reliable contact information. Thanks. P.S. I'm in south east Arizona and I REALLY need something like this.

@@StoneyRidgeFarmer somewhat agree and disagree brother. For me, 99% of the time my tractor/mower is in motion. I’m covered in the shade from the canopy and thus string the breeze blowing me to cool me. The CFM and volume produced by this size and voltage fan is not great enough in my study to see the benefit. If I was stationary or using the backhoe, then most definitely! As for vacations, if done correctly, there truly is an ROI. Not cash ROI, but the return is you are more relaxed, reenergized and have made amazing memories. Just don’t go where the other million crazies are. Lol.
