Hi, the fire happened last summer, and killed one woman. It was at that time not a hotel but a private residence. Former guests at the hotel were Richard Burton, and Neville Chamberlain. What an amazing place, let’s hope someone who’s wealthy can renovate this place. I think you should be yourselves, if you swear normally than swear. Just be yourselves, as we love you either ways

Bontddu Hall, beautiful building always found it suspicious that it went from a business place to a private residence then caught fire, round these parts when an old building catches fire it’s usually the new owner wanted to knock the place down to build some new soulless monstrosity in its place and was denied permission so the building mysteriously catches fire and is rendered structurally unsound and therefore demolish-able

Place is currently for sale for £750k and is under offer, been on market since a few months after the fire in 2020. built in 1873 for a wealthy english family, It was a hotel for a long while but as of 2004, permission was granted to turn it into a private home.

They got a narrator now…..fancy boys lol can we get some subtitles? Lol. This is definitely one of the best explores they’ve done in a while imo

Man that little bar was truly special. Gave me chills up the back of my neck when you walked in there...I can only imagine what that place would’ve looked like in its original state. And so much spectacular woodwork there as well...Top notch, boys.

It was damaged in 2020 by the fire and as of February 2023, it was up for sale £950,000 and had its price slashed twice more firstly by £100k, then another £100k, because nobody wants to buy it, probably because it would be too costly to repair due to all the fire and mould. It was built in 1873. Winston Churchill stayed there too. Was a hotel until 2004. Can’t see anything about it being sold as of Nov 2023 when I write this. Such a shame!

Wow this is by far is one of the best explores you guys have done yet. This place must have been beautiful before the fire. Great job guys.

What an amazing place. I definitely would have stayed the night. So sad to see all the fire damage. But some great pieces of furniture in there as well! 😍 I’m have slight OCD and I would just want to start clearing out and cleaning up. Absolutely lovely place. RIP to the lady that lost her life.

This place was amazing! the way the fire damage was was insane, the fact that some parts were absolutely beyond ruined right next to stuff that was practically pristine... i mean, normally when stuffs exposed like that theres natural decay but the way that its just contained the way it is is mental... i mean that little hallway with the skylight being a great example, literally ruins next to what looks like just a regular dusty hallway and the fact that the skylight and light arent damaged even slightly is astounding

Love the epic voice over at the opening and the Futurama reference. Another great explore and love your juvenile humour as ever.

The 'Nice bit of Wood' at 10:10 has symbols of Freemasonry carved into it. A former owner must have been a 333rd Degree Master Mason and Grand Wizard of the Scottish Rite or something.

Do you guys ever get worried about long term mould exposure when you go exploring? Only asking as curious, I love exploring places yet need to be super careful with mould, as I have Cystic fibrosis and had a double lung transplant and mould can cause deadly infections in transplanted lung.
